I start a new thread:  I am making a fusion of 2 great maps: Starting from <strong>Bungs &amp; Verquins Global War II-map basics and Heppsters &amp; Larssons Total War</strong> features like winter, territoryEffect etc.  It is not going to be a shocking new map, allthough I am working on extra features ( new units , triggers )  and trying to clean up things like units placement.  I have graphical roots so my programming skills are limited to <strong>COPY -adapt-PASTE  ERROR ERRO ERROR -TRY TO FIX</strong>...  <img src="https://forums.triplea-game.org/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f609.png?v=81p39k6bhee" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--wink" title=";)" alt="😉" /><br />
Also I am quite new to this forum so remind me if I make mistakes.</p>
<p dir="auto">Besides I have a <strong>wish list of features</strong> I like to add to this game version of which I don't know if they are possible: some  requests might me close to impossible or will make you laugh a lot :  for sure it will show you my lack of programming skills <img src="https://forums.triplea-game.org/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=81p39k6bhee" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" title=":)" alt="🙂" />  haha.....   I'll post weekly some features and hope anyone of you Code warriors can help me with feedback on POSSIBLE and if so.. in what way...  <em>( I used to work in map making for Civilization RED ww2 where there where lot of scripting possibilities)</em>     would be very apreciated!      and later this year some critical gametesters too ofcourse.      anyway......         still didn't manage to get respons from VEQRYN but I hope he approves me using his map as starting point.</p>

<p dir="auto">Not sure if it was intentional that the Foreign Legion unit is only meant to be buildable in South France... but it feels strange that you cannot produce it out of North Algeria.</p>
<p dir="auto">Also the star seems like a weird insignia as it looks like the Leader unit.  Why not the legions actual insignia to identify it?</p>

<p dir="auto">Many of the territories the final placement for the territories is on the left hand side...  meaning that once the territory reaches the max number of placements any excess units start to appear on top of the other ones...</p>

<p dir="auto">The engine now allows you to make the extension bar go left or right of the final placement... might be something you want to consider for certain territories to relieve unit congestion.</p>

<p dir="auto">More complexity doesn't also mean necessarily always enhancing games. For example no matter how many different kind of features or unit types are present in a WWII scenario, Germany will always prefer throwing everything to East as much as possible before Western Allies could invade mainland Europe as default. Its very repetitive/predictable thing which I do believe should be prevented by the least amount of complexity.</p>
<p dir="auto">The another major issue is lack of irreversibility which mean its almost impossible to recover from major mistakes due to cumulative nature.</p>
