just I did forgot password and it gave me an error message - I know my username is right hence above question?

Yeah I tried that and when it said couldn't find me is why I asked if perhaps I needed to re-register and my registration back from 1.9 is no good?

It does but just shows stars when i load up engine 1.9. tried to copy the field but cant?

No. You didn't need to register again for 2.0, either.
