<![CDATA[This save was made by a newer version of TripleA]]>I downloaded the newest version of TripleA (2.5.22294 windows 64-bit). I have Windows 11 Home 64-bit. I downloaded a game off of axisandallies.org League forum to review. Try to open it by either double clicking the .tsvg file or open game in TripleA. Either way I get this error:

This save was made by a newer version of TripleA. To load this save, download the latest version of TripleA: https://triplea-game.org/download/ If this problem happens frequently and is something you cannot fix, please report it to TripleA

Any ideas how to fix this?

The current 'stable' (2.5.22294) is by far not the newest version. Just the latest version called 'stable'.

Download and install the current pre-release from
https://github.com/triplea-game/triplea/releases
to open files created with newer versions.

You can install this version side by side to another installation. Be sure to choose a different installation directory, then. Also start the correct TripleA.exe, then.
