<![CDATA[New to 3A and the forum]]>Hi everybody,

I'm new to Triple A as well as to the forum.

I am Belgian and live in Ypres, the well-known WW1 battlefield (close to Dunkirk - just over the border in France). I was a tour guide during 20 years for that infamous battefield.

I played a few Axis and Allies boardgames (oldest version) I have a few hours to spend right now and would like to play a learning game with someone. Is someone available for that?

Also open to any advice for a new player.

It is a good enough to be a challenge but you will be able to beat it once you have somer experience.

I'll check them (looks like a lot). Going through the stuff in the coming days.

I'll still ask the question in general if someone can help me through some kind of chat of ideally for instance through a longer phone call through whatsapp. The best way to learn is probably to go hands-on.

I only know 1 map and that's from the boardgame. I have a version that is at least 30 years old (spring 1942). But seldom played it lately.

I am interested in playing online and would like some advice as to which one of that long list of versions is most played. I guess that will be my best chance of finding 1 or more players to play with.

I'm also interested in giving a game by mail a serious try.
