        QUESTION:

        When and how does the Japanese able to non-combat move into Celebes, Sumatra, etc.?

        I am on turn 1 and tried a million things but none work. What am I missing?

            @beelee Got it ! I looked for that in the rule book but I searched on "celebes" and not "Dutch Territories".

            I am SO UNIMPRESSED by the poor quality of these rule books...

                    @johnnycat Good morning JC. Noticed that in your G3, you placed a factory in Greece and 3 U-Boats in Ty Sea. But not allowed to do that. Units can only be placed in a factory that existed before the turn starts. Do you want to redo your G3 or just have me revise your turn via Edit? If revise, do you want to place the 3 UBoats in the North Atlantic or use your 12 Franks for something else?

                                  @johnnycat What to do with the Corleones. Yes, it's a mystery a bit. In OOB, if UK has a successful Taranto Raid, they are often reduced quickly to playing defense in Italy and assisting in defense of France. Along with can-opener attacks in Russia - meaning kill the infantry or two defending a territory so that German panzers can blitz through on their turn. It's possible because with turn order, the Axis can do a 1-2 punch with Italy followed by Germany with only ANZAC far away from their theater between them.

                                  Thankfully HRE gives them more possibilities. I am far from an expert but here's roughly what I see and you are too good sir for me to detail out what you can do with each one of them since I am under pressure in the Med in our current game.

                                  1. They are useful for the ways mentioned in OOB strategy threads. There's multiple threads on the forum discussing what to do with the weakling Italy and all of the suggestions apply in HRE also.
                                  2. Italy is able to build LCVs and Paratroopers both of which can be quite useful for attacking:
                                    a. Caucasus across the Black Sea from Greece
                                    b. Syria from Italy as a gateway to the lucrative Middle East territories.
                                    c. Gibraltar from S. France
                                  3. Since U-Boats are so powerful in HRE and Italy gets a bit more money, the Axis can often clear the Med from UK Navy which then gives Italy some possibilities to rebuild their navy.

                                  Looks like you have already figured out alot of this by the moves you are making but that's about it except that in HRE, you also have a very powerful one-time move called the Italian Takeover. I'll let you figure that one out yourself since you are already advanced in your playing skills. Well - have a swell time with the Mafia - no more help on that topic! 🙂

                                      @trout might not seem like a lot but the extra 3 bucks for Italia is essentially a 30% increase from OOB

                                      but yea I agree with everything you said. Especially the part about
