yes place the Major 2nd place. Test it out just to make sure but OOB rules state that the Upgrade is placed same as the other units.

@johnnycat Yes, I would just pay the 20 and upgrade to major this turn. Can place three this turn and ten next turn - or twelve next turn if you pay the 20 and then on next turn upgrade the major

So I studied this move like a chess game and all went great until after I rolled and got reasonable results I realized I missed a battle. hahaha. I did in fact have guys that could have taken your paratroopers in Bulgaria.
I am just not used to making the connection to fighting units and those little markers... so only after all the battles got rolled did I see a little "1st" marker in northern Italy that could have done it... Oh well, live and learn. Tell those guys to enjoy the town - they will be smashed next turn - except you can fly them away !

So my dream came true
And I built a German factory in Persia.
BUT QUESTION with my answers: Can I upgrade that factory to make 4 guys? (YES) Next turns of course. Can I make More than 4 guys there ever ? (NO) Can it be underground? (YES but small)
Sorry but I just cannot figure out the rules clearly on this because of my brain.

I also want to know what the ELITE tanks are ideally for. Should I have them in those special little groups of 6? Like in the board game we get to specify which units get the extra rolls - so should I put my elite tanks inside those army groups? Or maybe they are better just being there?

Yea so you can't upgrade new Fctrys to Hvy Industry. Only Fctrys you originally start with. And only the original owner can upgrade them.
So you gonna max out at 3 in Persia. Might wanna get Iraq on the same program

Oh yea the Elite Tank. Yea you can only use it in a Army Group as part of the 10 land unit requirement.

And I want two of those new SUB pens I just got to be in other places so should I tell you now? The rules say anywhere I own next to water at the start of that turn so I want one in Iraq now.
And the one I got the last turn would best be in Southern France I would think.

It appears from how you placed your U-Boats around UK that you think they can block naval movements but that's not true. U-Boats/Subs & Transports don't block any ship movements. It won't matter during my Russia turn but on your J turn, use Edit to re-locate your U-Boats if you want. Or I can do it for you on my USA turn before I start doing stuff.

I feel like I need to let you know ahead of time about a few rules specific to China as I think it matters alot for what you do with your Indochina stack. So China is not allowed to move outside of China except for two territories which are Hong Kong and Burma. So my Chinese hordes cannot touch you when you are in Indochina or if you move to Shan State or Siam. But if you move to Burma or Kwangsi then I can.
Taking kiddos to school so will be awhile before I post my R turn but had a few minutes to type this out

So the dice heard your requests and decided to score hits on all three of your land mines which you had on the Slovakia/E. Poland border. So that resulted unfortunately in blowing up all three of my Commie dudes. Then in the attack, your Elite scored a hit which killed a plane since all of my guys were in hospitals getting legs amputated from Nazi land mines. And that is where that unit was that was supposed to take out that para guy.That recognizing the units is part of the difficulty of learning this game, hahaha.

How this kamikaze thing works is still not clear. I should be able to select a ship I would think. Otherwise it's useless.
