          @gully Actually, I would have scrambled one plane to SZ 51. I could prevent you from moving your transports in ncm. For quite some time we had the rule that you couldn't move during cm and ncm (other than planes). I'll edit the transports and the infantry.
          If you want to reroll Tobruk and SZ 51, i don't mind. It's not about hitting anything. That would only be a bonus

              @wirkey I just tested it. The engine allows the loading and moving in combat move and the unloading in NCM. Would you accept this or did you mean, that not doing so is a player enforced rule? It would probabyl still be allowed to load and move but not unload in combat or is this against the spirit of only making moves that actually lead to combat or change of territory ownership in the combat move phase?

                @gully I have no idea what shall be allowed and what not. I only know that according to the revised rules moving both in cm and ncm is not allowed. Moving in that case means moving, loading and unloading.
                What does @Hepps say to that matter?

                  @wirkey Its all semantics.... I have never understood the need for the newish engine enforced CM & NCM distinctions. Since you could have easily just done it all in NCM then the move would be considered 100% legal.

                    @hepps actually, it couldn't have all been done in ncm if I had scrambled to SZ 51! So sorry to disappoint you, but it'S more than semantics.

                              Another thing I learned about the game mechanic: Can't retreat into sz25 unless I formally attack the sub (which submerges anyway). I thought I could just ignore subs in my turn. A submerged sub doesn't make the seazone "hostile" anymore.

                                  Squeezing every bit of value out of the Axis Battleships. I think I repaired a Battleship every round so far (except first round, where it's not possible).

                                  I like the Battleships, and I also like that the bombard was buffed. Right now you can suicide a marine or inf and get at least one guaranteed hit with the bombard (or kill a scrambler) -> cost-efficient. Unless the defender has 2-hit defense structures.
