Help me on the start up format, it has been a long time.
How do we bid? Strongly prefer to have Tech and National Advantages, please.

That's OK with me, however if we play with Tech I would prefer to play with the rule that if you achieve a tech it become active at the start of your NEXT turn, not immediately. Otherwise your opponent could be able to make moves that would only be possible or viable because of a just achieved tech, and taking that into account kills gameplay in my opinion. (Think about e.g. Germany getting long range aircraft, and therefore suddenly being in a position to kill unescorted transports that were initially out of range).
If you let me know your dice email I can set up the game for us.

I just DL the 64 bit version and your save said get a newer version, would not open.
So I deleted the 64 bit and loaded the 32 bit version.
same result, can not open the saved file, it still says I need a newer version.
Help please! I like my chances in this game with the Brits holding on in India SZ. never seen that happen so one sided -
You will probably need to download the 2.7+ pre-release. Under Assets there should be a windows 64-bit installer.

Hi, this is what you need to do.
First of all click on "Play By Forum". Then load the save game using "Saved Game". This screen will then look something like this.
Now, make sure you enter your forum username into the designated field, yours is "leemorrison", and also enter your forum password. Once that's done, all the relevant information will be correctly filled in automatically, with the exception of the forum password. ALWAYS REENTER YOUR PASSWORD EVERYTIME YOU LOAD THE GAME (even when remember password is checked), or it will not work.
Then you can do your turn as normal. At the end of your turn, this screen will be appear.
After which you can click on "Post Turn Summary" and it will directly post to the forum.

Hi VF, just a little housekeeping before there is a problem
UK intent is to buy an AC and land the 2 ftrs on it.
When playing AI, if I land them in the SZ where the carrier is going to be placed, I think they are lost.
If placing UK, sometimes it asks if I want to land them on the AC after the placement. Sometimes it does NOT, and they are left in UK.
What is correct procedure to avoid a mechanical error that could be fatal against a great player like you?

In this version, you can end the movement of fighters in a sea zone, assuming they are in a space next to an IC AND you have bought a carrier. After that, they will still exist in the place units phase. If you place a carrier in the sea zone they are in, they will live, otherwise they will be removed.
This works different in other versions like Classic or Europe as the rules for landing fighters on carriers are different.
