Yea so the dudes don't change appearance but are under German control. You can hover to see.
I think I did that to make it easier to not overproduce Paras after the Takeover. I can't remember. LCVs do the same.
Anyway, after they die it will produce them in grey. Idk, I've thought about changing it and probably should at some point or at least mention it in Notes if I haven't already but it's kind of low priority since it actually works

The new update is coming along well though, so I might do it for that.

I don't know how to get my subs in the North Sea into their new Sub Pens - could you please tell me how to do that?

The 6 New Naval Mines are mining the Gibraltar Straight - I am doing that correct yes? These naval mines are much more powerful than land mines so if you go through them I would love to see how to roll it out - odds are good that some full transports would be blown up some I would think heehee

So to get the dudes in the SubPens you need to edit in a "Changer" U-boat. They have a blue bow.

They can't be attacked then. You have to edit them in and out as you attack with them. Also, they won't defend either. They just chill.
Anyway, the 4 U-boats in 113 could enter the Pen but they can't be attacked regardless, so no need too.
Also, your free SubPen can be placed according to the rules. It just defaults to W GER. Use edit if you wanna place it somewhere else.

You can use the same NM for 92 SZ. NMs are just informational so no biggie. Besides it looks more intimidating with so many present lol

The 3 Subs in 96 need to switch to U-boats. Happens with the Takeover. I can't remember if it auto does that or not. I think so. I should fix it if that's the case. -
@johnnycat No problem on the U-Boats. Am not planning to attack W. Germany or SZ 112 this turn anyway. 33 infantry in ME and two are elites!!! That's easily a record for what I have ever seen before in any of my games. That's why House Rules Expansion is such a great game. Every single game is vastly different than the others.

If so, you would probably successfully recapture it with all of that stuff you have in Yugo & Northern Italy but it's quite the hit to lose your entire bankroll of Germany/Italy and hand it over to Soviets.
