The Others and Glitch
-
Greetings! Two questions:
How can you defeat the Others? It doesn't seem possible to enter their 'home' territory? The best I have been able to do is lure them out to defeat portions of the force. Is it possible to defeat them? How is it done? Are they set up as sort of a timer? Eventually they get too powerful and take over the entire game....
After a while the game glitches (regularly)...."Comparison method violates its general contract!" What I have been doing is rebooting the game and playing the offending computer players turn for them then rebooting the game and restoring that position back to the computer player. Is there a solution or a better way to get around it

@majesticfeet I am finding a problem with hits on dragons. I was able to work around this by using the Fast AI instead of the Hard AI.
As for conquering the Others, you can't. The units of the "Others" are created by events, they have no homeland to conquer. This is consistent with the source material.

@rogercooper With the Others I lure them out to knock down their numbers. However it looks to me that eventually their force gets too large and will probably act like a timer on the game. In the end you can't win unless you play the Others.

You can set the victory conditions on the options screen.

@rogercooper I hadn't thought of that, thank you.
