I rolled for russian tech, then moved 1 russian attcking inf in a CM to BELARUS, ctrl+B to check german defense.
Then edited removing ADV DES STR and recalcularted with BattCalc, german defensive score is the same
Maybe I am wrong...

Yes, sorry I edited my map after posting the 242 message, now is 249 but the problem is that 249 remains 249 even if I remove the ADV DEF STR tech, check and you will see, the tech has no impact on BattCalc -
@malmessi yeah ok so as @nothingtoseehere suggested the problem is that the tech hasn’t activated yet.
normally, when you get a tech it doesn’t actually take effect until the following round. when you edit, you are bypassing this normal process and even though it appears as if the tech is already active visually you sitll need to wait a round for it to activate.
check this file where i just set all factions to do nothing and cycled it back to russia’s next turn you will see that belurussia now has a defense of 251 which is i believe what you were expecting with your edit.

Ah ok, getting the tech normally will give me the +1 whan Russia attack, editing bypass and I have to wait one more tuirn, ok, thanks

@malmessi Or you could ask your friends if you can go back to the start of Germany's turn and redo it with the intended tech roll?

@malmessi: Using edit mode is often the messier solution.
