even if the brits didn't lose their fighters and bombers on turn 1, Americans bought 3 more fighters first 2 turns (total of 6), and Brits bought two more fighters, this battle would still heavily lean German. I included the 6 German fighters because the threat on Berlin would be significantly less with so much fighter purchasing.

Yep, that's why I think this game is heavily in favor of Germany (at least 90%) and the only way for them to lose is large defeats in both the Atlantic and the Eastern Front.
