That was a bad German opener lol. Probably not as bad as yours but I am not sure this opener is the right one for Germany. My guess is the odds on Moscow will be in the range 30%-50%.

I dont know maybe I am being too pessimistic. The Atlantic went very well for Germany. I might be able to bring the odds to 60-65%. I will be surprised if it's any higher than that.
EDIT: I gave this some thought I discard this guess, I think it will not be higher than 50%

Just for good practice I am going to calculate the net pieces here.
I'm not sure why but you get different results when comparing the actual pieces left for both sides with the Average Units Left, while I feel that should be the correct way to do this. I also don't exactly know how the engine calculates the Units Left if Att/Def Won and what that number represents (the pieces left only from the battles where that side won?).

***"Retreat after round 2"So, vastly different results. For some reason I feel the second method is more accurate because it also uses results from battles where the attacker did NOT win. I believe the numbers from the first method gauge how well the attacker did based only on the combat results where the attacker also won.
On the other hand, if the attacker loses he most likely doesn't keep on fighting all the way to the end, and will probably retreat at some point. Therefore the numbers from the second method might be too high as the attackers units left are compared to an average number that include large defeats where in practice the attacker would've retreated to cut their losses.

Honestly I think comparing the TUV swing of each battle with the average TUV swing would also be a good way to determine how well a player's rolls were. More specifically, how much impact a player's rolls had on the final outcome of the battle, whereas just net pieces left after the battle would simply gauge a player's rolls. For example, -1.00 means one piece more lost on average, but that could be a 3 IPC infantry or a 15 IPC bomber. The dice are the same but in the latter case the dice caused much more havoc for the player than in the other. So I think a combination of the two calculations would be best.

Yep that's true and it is the only drawback of this site. It should be very easy to install a dice bot here too but it seems like the developers are very uninterested in doing this. I could do it myself if I want but I don't have server access
I suggest you use pbegames.com/roller/, it's a bit slower but it still works very will I find.EDIT: Or optionally what also works well is enter edit mode at the end of the combat movement phase. That way you can select any number of casualties you want during battles. So that way you have more control over the battle.
