I can't launch more than one rocket attack, and I last turn I fired two. That's why I will give you the opportunity to do something with the 5 IPC that should have been still in the UK treasury previous turn. Sorry.

@leemorrison Perhaps another for the League later this week?

@leemorrison Thank you, this was the most fun and crazy Classic game ever. I will never forget it. You got diced the entire game while I was always very lucky, and it was still a close match.

I moved the three German fighters to Ukraine as a bait. I noticed that Eastern Europe was in danger unless the British reinforce it with everything they had. Attacking the fighters would be tempting, but risky without leaving Eastern Europe in danger.

The German units scoring 7/7 hits was definitely not expected and was the final blow to the poor Allies.

Sure we can play one for the league. The League rules have changed a bit, now you may play the game however you want and you can use bidding to determine sides.

My preferred way of playing is as following

                        • Russia Restricted

                        • No Invasion of Neutrals

                        • Can Place in Enemy Sea Zones *

                        • No Industrial Complexes *

That's because a very experienced player has found out that when the game is calibrated this way, it is almost perfectly balanced. I fully agree with him.

We can debate about the ones with a * but the ones without I find are a must.

Also - if time allows you - would you be willing to play more games of AA50 1942? In addition to the Classic game? My goal is to become an experienced player in 1942 however it has been hard to find skillful opponents that are interested in playing. Most people prefer 1941.

@victoryfirst . And you sir, are a great opponent!

If I can have the Allies even, go ahead and start us up with those Classic terms.

Let us see how the week goes before adding an AA50 42 game.
I have several time consuming PBEM games going at IAAPA, including a tourney. They require writing out everything. Fun but boring.

Hell yeah, that's what I want to hear! I'll go ahead and set us up 🙂

What is IAAPA? Why do you have to write out everything? Are there many people participating in the tournament? It sounds cool!

@victoryfirst We may have so technical difficulties here.

since there was no combat, we can correct it with your knowledge of how these two systems work.

The start map was set for use on axis&allies.org forum. When I tried to use that, it would not open, giving me an "invalid login error".

The map opened when I switched to the "forums,TripleA" forum
However, when I tried to send the summary, it gave me an error message.
This is the same problem I have had on two other games. My password is the same, both places

                                .VFvsLMrus1.tsvg

Eamanon was able to use the DL and open the log in our game

IAAPA is the oldest PBEM club. Started around 1994 or 1995 as the AOL.A&A club.
Initially, play was like chess by mail. Players used REAL game sets.
No one had invented digital maps, so everything had to be written.

Some truly great players are still very active there. For example, Explosive, I think from Sweden, was the General of the Army of AAR in at least three PBEM clubs. Many are veterans of 1000+ games.

Myself, I was too cheap to pay the dues and only played in the Free ones. I think Panther at A&A.org is the same panther that was long time President and great player in the German club, DAAK

@leemorrison Did you get this error?

If that's the error, double check if your forum username and password match the ones you use on the A&A forum. It must work.

@victoryfirst 16 players in the latest IAAPA gimmick tourney. NAVY format

Anyway, when there was only Classic, the AAMC club championship tourney once had over 120 entries.
