I have created a data file showing GDP & Population by Country and Year from 3000 BCE to 2022 CE at https://axisandallies.fandom.com/wiki/World_Historical_Economic_Database
Map-makers may find this of use when determing the value of areas. The GDP & Population are shown as a proportion of the world total for that year. Note that the countries reflect modern boundaries, not the countries that existed at the time. I am working on a data file that has information by the country using the boundaries of that year.
