Wake Island guys forgot that they went there to take the island not chill on the boat. Not the first time I have had trouble with the TripleA optics. @beelee Good morning. Thanks- if only need three then one will need to stay in the Fatherland to reorganize the Waffen Army there with one panzer, one PG and one dude. I can edit all that in my J9 if I don’t forget! By the way full disclosure, I screwed up the Western Ukraine attack by forgetting to take two more infantry in. But with the favorable dice outcome I just left it as is even though that kept me from taking the territory. I am going to have to find a way to live with my mistakes as I don’t think Captain’s crew will give any quarter at the tourney next year

So ss Pnzr needs two other ss cockskrs to form a Army. One has to be a Oberst. The PG can only do Panzer/Desert Armies or you can transform one for the ss Pnzr Army.
You can still have a third PG after you transform to ss PG.
Is Pizza gonna go too ? To Denmark ? Plan ahead for his passport if he doesn't have one yet. I got burned for almost 6 months lol

@beelee Hey there. We may need to ask Cap for clarification on this. I just re-read the Waffen Panzer General rules and you are correct about only 3 vs. 4 Waffen Panzers. But I don't believe you need a Grumpy to go with it. I see mention of it in the opening paragraph but I think that was just historical context. When I read about how to apply it in HRE, it says Waffen PG + 3 W Panzers. But hey I have been wrong before.

@beelee I can't do all nighters anymore. This boy just can't hack it anymore past 1 am at the very latest. Yes, Pizza going too. He kind of took a break from AnA while finishing up his freshman year due to Final Exams, etc. Then his playing partner (me) went to that MS River island for a week. So with him, I am Axis and just finished I7 with him. He has complete control of the Med and whacked my last remaining Med Navy on US6. In the Pacific, I have the upper hand ever so slightly. I took Wake Island on J6 which pissed him off so he attacked the IJN there. Epic battle which left me with just the two damaged Heavy B's plus my transports. But the lost IPC count was 50 in my favor. Those two SHB's make it really difficult on the Yanks if they put their two in the Atlantic (which he did). So that's where we are in our board game.

Not quite sure what you're asking. To form the Waffen Panzer Army, you need 3 Waffen Panzers that were upgraded from Wehrmacht Panzers and a PG that has been upgraded to Waffen PG

Sweet. Yea Wake can be problematic for either side with a Harbor on it. What board do you guys play on ? OOB or do you have a custom one ? -
@beelee Good morning Beelee. Maybe I misunderstood your previous post then. I thought you were saying that an Oberst is needed + Waffen PG +3 Waffen Panzers for the Waffen Panzer Army and my response is that my reading of the rulebook is that only need WPG + 3 WP's. I will press on and post J with the assumption that we don't have a disagreement on this.
