      @beelee I know. And I tried that in practice games with the AI and it would not allow me to do it.

      QUESTION: What does the ESCORT do? And why does it say that it has a Transport value of 1? What is that light?

        Nice clean turn. The AB premature deployment was the only f up and it had no affect on the game 🙂

        The Escort has a Trprt value so it can Trprt Naval Mines

        They are your cheapest blocker and defend at 3 when in "Convoy" mode. Needs a liitle edit sometimes so check in Game Notes and the captain's rulebook

          @beelee Thank you - I am trying to get it all correct. As I said, during practice games the AI would not let me place the airbase and the small factory in the same phase. Should I have just used edit that case?

          I do understand that I am not supposed to place it during the first phase and then use it... But like you said, in this case it had zero bearing...

            and it is a great way to block subs... Hmmmm ideas ideas... I love it.

              I will check that. Did you use edit by chance ? Edit doesn't always allow other correct behavior when it's been used.

              OK I'm upgrading you from an A- to an A then since you knew the correct rule 🙂

                Triplea will auto generate when 1 Trprt and 1 Escort but have to edit after that. It also doesn't recognize Allied trprts and Escorts working together or the Badass USA Trprt that can carry 4 dudes

                  QUESTION: When do I place the Factory Upgrade? Use India as an example. I can buy a factory upgrade but can I then place units? Or does the factory upgrade take place in the second placement phase ?

                    So for Fctry upgrade for India, it's a Minor Fctry now after JPN took it over, you place 1st place phase

                        yep so e.g. at game start you buy a Hvy Ind 1 for S Africa. 1st place phase you place the Fctry and then 2nd place phas you can place 4 dudes

                        Yea you tried to place the AB 1st place. Can't do that. That's why it didn't work.

                            If you're really cash heavy will ping @redrum as he's the one who did the latest AI improvements for the most part. It's a collaborative effort I believe 🙂

                              @johnnycat Upgrading TripleA would be very nice indeed! Beelee is a very humble gentle soul ... at least most of the time 🙂 I think he should go visit Denmark and kick around some of those European dudes in the next G40 tourney if he would accept you or somebody else buying a ticket for him. But he's not a big traveler.

Unfortunately I am not very familiar with what Taiwan has to offer besides manufacturing PC chips and awarding $2 to the Allies if they take it from J in our game/hobby 🙂 If you were in Japan, I love their green tea but guessing that in Taiwan they import their tea from the same places USA does.

                                  @johnnycat Hey there. Looking at doing J6 now and snooped around on the rules a bit as I need all of the help I can get to save Yamamoto & Tojo from early doom!! So if I have this right:

                                  1. Russia attacked J on R4 so that means $7 is taken from Soviets and $7 added to J.
                                  2. Also with attacking Mongolia I believe the four dudes in Dzavhan are now Japanese.
                                  3. I will proceed with that in mind, did you already delete 7 rubles from Stalin's bank or would you prefer I edit that in??

                                        @johnnycat Yes, they become like Genghis Khan where they can ride their horses all of the way to Paris if they want. But alas their infantry are rather slow so I will probably railroad two of them to China and have them become happy worshipers of the Emperor in my army.

                                            I think what happens to the Mongols when attacked by SSR is that they turn Pro Axis so you have to move a dude in NCM to take them over. Same as Finland and Bulgaria Iraq

                                            So what happens at the start of Early 1941, turn 3, the Mongols are treated as a "True Neutral" which means that an attack on them would turn All True Neutrals to Pro Axis.

                                            For this game, I would just let the Mongols and not all the other Neutrals turn Pro Axis as it's too far along to go back and redo it.

                                            I assume Cat wouldn't have attacked them if he knew that.

                                            So the Mongols can't move. Jpn or any Axis player, has to move in NCM to activate the TTy and any units in it to JPN control. Triplea does this correctly.

                                            So I would move the Mongol Inf back to there starting TTys and return control to the Mongols, except for the one SSR already conquered of course 🙂

                                            Starting with last turn J6 JPN can then move the Inf from Chahar to Central Mongolia in NCM and it will turn Japanese 🙂

                                            It's important to note that triplea will allow you to move M2 units and activate more than 1 TTy. That is incorrect. Once you move into a Pro Axis or Allied TTy in NCM, you have to stop whether you have movement left or not.

                                            AAGuns also can't take control of the TTy which triplea will allow.

                                            So to sum up, OOB rules which are in affect the first 2 RDs, if JPN attacks Mongolia or any Russian TTy bordering Mongolia, the Mongols immediately turn Russian including there units.

                                            If Russia attacks Mongolia, all Mongol TTys become Pro Axis. Same as Finland, Bulgaria etc ... triplea does both of these correctly.

                                            In HouseRulesExpansion beginning turn 3, Mongols become a True/Strict Neutral. An attack on one Neutral turns all the other Neutrals Pro to the side that didn't attack.

                                            Russia is only player that doesn't do that. I guess I should change it but it's a pita and it's easy enough just to edit the Neutrals to at War.

                                            I don't necessarily like thoese rules but that's what they are 🙂
