        @beelee Just wondering, always helpful to get the phrasing right! How would you write the rule for bombing underground factories? Similar to AA guns, "Having endured the AA fire, the bomber may now try to damage the underground bunker. On a roll of 1 or 2, he is successful and may roll for damage. Damage rolls of a 5 or a six are a miss."

            @beelee YoungGrasshopper did a house rules version which is inferior to HRE overall but had some interesting features which I would love for Captain to consider but he wasn’t interested. One of them was a point system for blocking that effectively required two destroyers/escorts or one cruiser in order to block a Sea Zone so it just added a smaller layer of strategic thinking but was a lot more realistic

            There was also some other cool things like more bonuses overall so for example if Allies controlled Sicily and Sardinia got a small bonus and if Axis held all of the Balkans they got a small bonus for that.

              I'd have to go back and check but essentially I had a Underground Fctry damageable up to about 50% of it's production from SBRs

              I think Minors were a little different. I can't remember.

                Triplea won't let me retreat because I used a LCV in the attack. I will switch to edit to allow that to happen. The 3 AA hits at 1 were just too much to overcome.

                                @beelee if I hadn’t gifted you the Russian troops and I had my landing spot in Korea I might have done differently. The larger strategy is to pin you to sz 6 and make you buy navy. And have an unresolved front. Actually two unresolved fronts in the far north

                                  @beelee clear as mud. So you have to pay for 2 repair bb repairs in order for a sbb which has two damage on it to be repaired fully, correct?

                                    yes a SHBB gets 3 hits so in order for it to attack, you need to repair fully. Same as regular BB. They wont attack if damaged or they will have no attack factor. You have to switch to ""BB Damaged" instead of "BB Hit" which is what triplea defaults to. Explained in Game Notes.

                                    Yes I was surprised to see the early SSR concentration. I hadn't planned on going there but as a reactive player I felt it the best thing to do. 🙂

                                    I generally like to secure China and not let the Pacific get away from me but with a KJF it can prove difficult.

                                    At any rate it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out 🙂

                                    Yes 3 bucks a hit. So 2 repairs if the hvy has 2 hits. That's PE

                                      @beelee As an English major, I might suggest that super and heavy are redundant adjectives. So either heavy bb or super bb, but super heavy is superfluous.

                                        @beelee Your sentence about switching in tripleA is confusing. I noticed you repaired sbb at the beginning of japan when the sbb was not damaged. triplea defaults to bb hit I think. Which is "I don't have to worry about this or do anything special." Correct?

                                          I was trying out a variation on a theme. It has left your southern flank a bit short on ground units, perhaps giving China a little more time to live. SFE is more resuppliable. And I knew that I could land units in SFE at will, creating yet another front. I'm counting 4 fronts in the north. Always trying something new. That commissar should form an army or something.
