          Interesting turn. Uncle Sam more conservative than what I've come to expect. I guess we will see what ANZC does.

          You are picking up the new units, Escrts e.g. and their movement. Nice clean turn.

          One thing I think you should pay more attention to are the Hvy BBs. They are probably the most powerful naval piece on the board.

            @beelee if I hadn’t gifted you the Russian troops and I had my landing spot in Korea I might have done differently. The larger strategy is to pin you to sz 6 and make you buy navy. And have an unresolved front. Actually two unresolved fronts in the far north

              @beelee clear as mud. So you have to pay for 2 repair bb repairs in order for a sbb which has two damage on it to be repaired fully, correct?

                yes a SHBB gets 3 hits so in order for it to attack, you need to repair fully. Same as regular BB. They wont attack if damaged or they will have no attack factor. You have to switch to ""BB Damaged" instead of "BB Hit" which is what triplea defaults to. Explained in Game Notes.

                Yes I was surprised to see the early SSR concentration. I hadn't planned on going there but as a reactive player I felt it the best thing to do. 🙂

                I generally like to secure China and not let the Pacific get away from me but with a KJF it can prove difficult.

                At any rate it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out 🙂

                    @beelee Your sentence about switching in tripleA is confusing. I noticed you repaired sbb at the beginning of japan when the sbb was not damaged. triplea defaults to bb hit I think. Which is "I don't have to worry about this or do anything special." Correct?

                      I was trying out a variation on a theme. It has left your southern flank a bit short on ground units, perhaps giving China a little more time to live. SFE is more resuppliable. And I knew that I could land units in SFE at will, creating yet another front. I'm counting 4 fronts in the north. Always trying something new. That commissar should form an army or something.

                            yes another one to remember as well is UK gets it bonus unless you kill a starting TTy with a PU value. So cyprus Aleaxandria don't negate it.

                            It's not very well documented. Victory found it and I did bold it in Objectives tab. I may have mentioned it in Notes too.

                            Probably should go through Notes again for OOB differences and post the major ones or update them at the beginning of notes again.

                                            Well I had a mini rally so gonna go ahead and roll this out.

                                            There's some complex thing's going on, so I'm gonna screenshot some of it, so you can see how it works.

                                            I'm gonna use Army Group North to attack Vyborg. I have to fight that battle in edit, because we need to use the AG Flag for it's bonus.

                                            Triplea counts it as a HitPoint and the mod doesn't, so we roll in edit and select casualties manually the way we would on the physical board.

                                            Also, I only have the one attack besides a SBR. If I switch to edit at end of CM and do combat, it'll throw a error.

                                            The solution is to make an unintended attack so there will be two attacks happening, the Sub attack in 125 doesn't count either or work for what we want.

                                            So I will send 1 Inf to Belarus and then edit it back and any hits after combat, just so edit will work correctly for us.

                                            A lot of this will be self explanatory for you but I'm gonna break it down so it can be linked as a teaching tool for others 🙂

                                            Here we go 🙂

                                            First thing, we will remove the SSR Bases, as the Soviets can kill them at no cost and at any time during battle. They don't have to, if they think they'll take it back on their turn for example but that's obviously not the case here and no need for the Reich to capture them intact.

                                            We are also going to activate 2nd Corps for the SSR in Yenisey but we will wait and do it in CombatMove ( CM )

                                            We will move Commisar3 from the Overflow Box to Yenisey so it can activate the 3 Tanks in 2nd Corps. Only one of the Tanks will get the bonus roll, along with the Commisar per the rules.

                                            We move the Inactive Commisar to 2nd Corps Box as 1st Corps is already active in the Caucasus.

                                            Then we move Army Group North to it's Box and it's units to the board. I like to move all the units to the boards as well as the individual Army/Corps Tokens and then move the Token s to their Boxes and move them to the board.

                                            Then move them all from their originating Territory at once to where they are attacking. Once one becomes more experienced you can skip some of these steps if you'd like. Just need it all to match up at the end of CM 🙂

                                            Well got a little carried away with the exampl 😊 but that's how it works.

                                            Turn was pretty sloppy as I couldn't remember all what i did lol Had to keep undoing stuff.

                                            Tough battle in Vyborg -4 plus on the dice and I don't think that counts what potential survivors woulda done or more accurately less nazi hits because they'd be dead.
