                @panzerstahl-helm-0 Good mornin'. Yanks still at home eating burgers and hot dogs. Too much Axis firepower in Med so Gibraltar is yours sir. Italians in Africa fought like .. well like Italians. But Doenitz' UBoats earned some extra Jagrmeister by having exceptional convoy results. One clarification question: I believe the Mongol commie dudes have to stay within Mongolia but I am not 100% sure. I looked at the OOB rulebook and still am a bit unsure. Do you know if they need to stay and tend their horses in their homeland or whether they are allowed to hang out in Siberia if they want to go on an excursion there?

                  yea it just says the OOB rule is eliminated start of Turn 3. I think that's just them turning soviet if JPN attacks. They would still turn pro allied possibly the way other Neutrals would or maybe they don't do anything. I've asked the captain that before but I don't remember what the answer was.

                  I will try and search it at the other site. I don't have much luck with the nodeBB search function though 🙂

                  I think the way I have it set up is that Mongolia turns Pro Allied or Pro Axis depending on who attacks it but it doesn't trigger all the Neutrals, although some players have to DOW on both to attack Mongolia.

                    I am crawling through the rules as well and can´t find a proper Endlösung for them neither... In one of my previous games against barnee the Mongloians were threated like Russians and they were able to move or else just like regular Russian troops.

                    For now I proceeded with Italy, since it does not affect above rule question.

                      Yea I think that might have been the game where the Soviets attacked RD 2 so the OOB rules were still in affect.

                      Ahh I just looked at your game. So JPN DOW on SSR and attacked Amur. That triggers the OOB Mongolia rule as the NAP between Russia and JPN is not in affect in Late 1940

                        @panzerstahl-helm-0 I think I am leaning to them not being able to leave Mongolia as it seems as if it would specifically say that in the OOB rulebook if they could since other strict neutrals can't either. So I will play that way unless Captain provides a reply otherwise. I think we all agree that for first two turns, the OOB rules are followed on this subject.

                                I think the last paragraph implies that they are a Strict Neutral after turn 3 in HRE

                                  @beelee I had a few minutes to research my question. Still unclear to me except that HRE rulebook clearly says that an attack on Turn 2 wipes away all of the Non-Aggression Pact house rules. So I asked Krieghund the question after searching the A&A forum a bit and still not finding any answer except that they convert to Soviet dudes. Since Krieghund is the official judge for the G40 rules, hoping he will respond.

                                    yea it works correctly for OOB. Game has been up on triplea for 15 years now. I know they have it right.

                                    If JPN attacks any TTy adjacent to Mongolia, the Mongols turn Russian.
