@johnnycat No worries. If you don't get to it tonight, no biggie. I have had games where I wasn't able to post for several days. I have some other games going right now anyway. I have heard people talk about starting Barb on G1 instead of annihilating France but have never played against somebody who did it. So would be a fun game for me if you did. I have no idea how it turns out. I just know that it has been done by others.

Okidoki, here is me trying to run the Bad Guys. So can your British fighters scramble against my subs? I guess so if you have a destroyer right?
Anyway, there are many scramble options I guess, so what ya gonna do Mr. Church Hill ?

Hi Cat
It's helpful if you post a screenshot of the scramble area as well as the save. Then one can make a quick decision with out downloading and uploading the save.
Although sometimes you will want to see what the entire turn did before making a decision also.

you should post the save too so he can see what other attacks, if any, you did.
Probably doesn't matter in this case but sometimes it will

@trout surprise? Dude I think I’m doing the only thing possible.
These opening moves seem similar to chess. In chess One either pushes the kings pawn two squares or the queen pawn.
Anything else is in the 1 percent. And Japan 1 seems like very little options. I guess I should study more games.

Standard Jap Turn 1 as far as I can tell. Although I recall you did not bother with the Philippines , hmmm. Hope I am not sticking my neck out too far with that move.

@johnnycat Getting Philippines cheaply before I can fortify or destroy the naval and air bases is the biggest advantage of doing it. People that don’t do J1 attack normally focus on fighting China in the beginning. Unless your name is Panzer, he does his own thing and somehow still wins a lot of games

@johnnycat Unfortunately, I don't know how to do the cool screenshots but need scramble instructions for SZ 97 and for SZ 111, would you like your U-Boat to submerge or fight?

@trout I dont get it. I thought Uboats dont have SAMs. What am I Missing?

@trout so why would they "fight". I saw that in the AI while playing the computer and figured that was a bug.

@johnnycat Well, the U-Boat can submerge and survive since no destroyer. Since it's just a fighter and Batt against your U-Boat and damaged Batt, I could see where the U-Boat could help sink my Batt but he only hits with a 1 on defense so odds not in your favor. I would probably submerge but I don't think it's a horrible thing to fight. For example, let's say I roll average and get 1 hit, you roll average and get 1 hit. For losses, I have a damaged Batt and you lose the U-Boat. Then on round 2, I get a hit and so do you. In that situation, we both lose our Batts on round 2 and that would not have happened without the U-Boat. OR you can just kill my Batt easily on G2 by having a U-Boat wolfpack finish him off on that turn.
Anyhow, 9.5 times out of 10, a sub would submerge and survive but I could see where you would choose to have him participate. Your choice sir
