      Yea you can't attack Trprts. A damaged Capital ship would be worth it and maybe to take out a potential blocker but yea I've never seen anyone use one πŸ™‚

        @trout Well that is intense. I am still shocked that you wiped out my Norway guys so easy.

        In any case I am looking forward to many more games now that I am getting the hang of it! And this game might still have legs unless you land in Japan and all my mines miss.

        I added two Naval Mines to the zone in front of 6 and all your ships

        And I had to use Edit to move my AA gun.

          @beelee I asked The Captain for more on this since it seems clear this rule is highly undeveloped and quite new (play testing recently)

          And taking out individual transports is exactly what this would be used for I would think.

            @johnnycat Yeah, I still get stunned sometimes with how powerful an attack can be when somebody sends all of their air power against it. That's why Japan is so powerful in the early turns of the game. If they can bring all of that air power to bear on a battle, it's impossible for the Allies to not get wiped out in it. Barnee has made me painfully aware of that several times in our games.

            Well looks like you know that! I see where you just wiped me out big time in Yunnan 😧 But Tokyo will fall πŸ‘

            I will set up the Home Defense for you. J gets two free guys and their dudes defend at a 3 for the first round when their homeland gets invaded.

            Looks like you need help with the Banzai rule. Don't bother redoing the turn as looks like the game is ending soon anyway. But Banzai can only be used in one way:

            1. One attack per turn only
            2. Can only be infantry attacking, nothing else.
            3. All infantry attacking from one territory attack at 2 instead of 1 for 1st round of combat.

            Another one of those rules that is cool but doesn't get used alot because attacks are so much more effective when air/tanks/arty are involved

                  By all means show me if you can - but I dont see how you can take it - 12 mines per turn and 12 inf per turn.

                  What am I missing here?

                  This game is TONS OF FUN - I will learn more of these rules - even the useless ones hahaha

                    hahahaha. DAM. I put a tank there and was supposed to the 1 inf to take back Japan if you took it. Silly me. There are so many details to this game its amazing

                            @johnnycat Okay, was able to set up the Home Defense for you. I see four Naval Mines in 6, is that correct?? Which borders are they on because I can enter from 16 or 17 so I will enter from whichever has less of those pesky things.

                              @trout how about forget the sea mines - just swap my tank by my ships with an inf in Japan. that guy is supposed to take back Japan on the DD if you actually take it.

                              I forgot that the DD only holds inf

                                @Trout In the future games I think we might pass on the naval mines - they seem too hard to use or keep track of. except the ones by Gibraltar. hmmm

                                  @trout and in reality those naval mines would have a decent chance to wipe out transports right? Or is this another thing like the fighter aces where they never get chosen?

                                  Seems to me I maybe should make some new way to chart this naval mines, hmmm. Because IF they can be used reliably and if they can take out random transports then it might become a viable play choice. Until then though they sure do seem complicated to use

                                    @johnnycat I am very okay with just agreeing to not use Naval Mines in the next game. Personal opinion- I think they only work well in bottlenecks which is when they were used in reality anyway. In the Pacific, it’s just too easy to go around them and you usually have big naval stacks where your escorts can sweep them away
