Multi Game 2 barnee Trout vs Alex Panzer
-
@beelee @alexander @panzerstahl-helm-0 Hey everybody! I am back now. Got back on Tuesday but still dealing with jet lag and trying to catch up with life and work since I got two weeks behind with the family vacay. I took a look at this game but need some rules clarification with engineers before I determine what I do in Southeast Asia. For now, I can say that the US/UK moves on the last turn are successful in keeping me away from any thoughts of capturing India.
Thanks for everyone's patience while I have been away

@beelee @alexander @panzerstahl-helm-0 Good morning to all. Not too much of note on this turn. US built two carriers in Pacific so I did the same. Lots of boats everywhere in the Pacific now. Advanced a bit in Soviet Union. Retreated a bit in the South Pacific. UK needs to review their LM laying procedures in Southeast Asia. 8 total LM rolls last two turns and no hits. Engineers cleared two of them so three left. Over to the Allies!

It doesn't say they have to stop when they remove the LMs, so I guess it's OK to move 2 spaces then.
I thought maybe you would have to stay in either Burma or Yunnan.
Edit
One of the Escorts in PHI should be deactivated. Not a big deal as I doubt the USN wants to mix it up
Edit 2
Here's an update on the Tourney. My reply to the CaptainJust heard from Alex. He is in as well, so we have 5. I guess weโll see if any of you guys wanna give triplea a spin.
You know how to play the mod which is the main thing

I donโt want anyone who hasnโt played the mod before. I will play a learning game separately if they want

So hopefully we can all play each other once and the top 2 go for the final. I estimate 2 months a game, so should give us enough time.
Some games will go quicker and I doubt much longer. If we get anymore, weโll probably need to split into two divisions and have the winners go at it.
Weโre all fairly even from a competition standpoint as in weโve all defeated each other
so probably just some random draw to pick the divisions if needed.Anyway, Panzer can use his Teutonic talents on setting it up

Our A-Bomb game we went with all options on, so when the Tourney starts will allbe using the Tourney Rules for the first time together

Anyway, looking forward to what rules you gonna use. Hopefully you add a few more

@beelee I guess before my next J turn, I can ask Captain for clarification on whether sweeping LMs during NCM limits an engineer to stopping after he does his little LM removal gig.
Yes, I think we have all defeated each other so could be random who wins. It seems as if all of us are better Axis players than Allies, so that may skew who actually wins our tourney. Although maybe playing Tournament rules will even that out a bit since some of the G special units won't be available.
For myself and I suspect the same for all of you, whichever one of us wins will have my full support against the Danish Mafia. It might be a Miracle on Ice situation - if Panzer/Alex are familiar with that story.

-
Heh Heh Alex Canadian. He knows about the Miracle on Ice

It seems The more experienced boardgame Players feel Axis has a slight advantage. If you look at the spreadsheet it's been pretty even with a slight Axis advantage. 21-16 Axis wins which seems to corelate to what the Danish guys get.

@Panzerstahl-Helm-0 Good morning Herr Panzer. Captain posted an answer to a rules question and the result is my two J engineers in Kweichow need to move back to Yunnan. I didn't want to revise my posted turn in case you are in the middle of doing yours. But I will make the change before my next J turn. Thx
-
Just a heads up, you can leave them in Burma also if you wanted as they can disarm the LMs from either TTy
-
@beelee Thanks - Iโll put them in Yunnan
