How does low luck option affect technology rolls?

We’re playing WW2v3 and looking to make technology less random. How exactly does the low luck option affect technology rolls? We play with dice for everything else.

So after some self testing, it seems you roll one die each turn and hit on however many tokens you have. For example, with one token you hit on a roll of one, with three tokens you hit on a roll of one, two, or three. This makes it impossible to miss on six tokens.
Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

@Tayleron That's correct. Its essentially just how LL works for battles where it adds up all the unit strength and only rolls for the remainder. For tech, you can only get 1 tech per turn so once you have 6 tech tokens then you automatically will get a tech.
