            Yeah Japan doesn't have any real momentum at this point to influence the wider war. Not sure they ever had much chance given the state of Europe, but I'd say the Pacific VCs are basically on lock for the Allies from here on.

              Yeah, Japan has to go for French Indo and Sumatra in the first 3 rounds otherwise they become stacked and very difficult to conquer. Japan would now need to mass transports with enough units to load them in order to take either of them out.

              I"d actually say Germany is doing fine but Italy/Japan/Middle East is where the problems are for the Axis.

                I agree, Germany made a decent recovery, but their initial fail put Italy out of play and took most the pressure off the Allies at the center. No potential quick drops into Caucasus, or ways to threaten amphibious actions around the Indian ocean and the like. Whatever plan I might have pursued for them definitely went out the window almost immediately lol. Not sure Japan was ever going to have a serious shot on Sumatra after losing the Truk transport to the air strike, that was a nice play by USA. I guess it was probably more expedient to just take French Indo last round. Had a pretty clean shot on French Colonies with like 20 units remaining. Then I guess bounce back to try and hold Manchuria after that. But the Russians did a good job throwing their weight around and tempting me out of position. Didn't stack heavy enough vs China out the gate either. My Axis just didn't have the juice this time out, I may have lost heart and got a little too distracted on J1 haha
