@schulz Just for curiosity: What do you have in mind?

@rainova Territories have very different sizes in some maps. I have just though it could be a good way to determine placement spots.

Related, being able arithmetically to relate unit size to the "Y" coordinate the unit is drawn would allow for perspective (Usually, since "Y" values in TripleA increase downwards, higher "Y" coordinates would imply greater unit sizes, as the unit would be supposed to be closer to the viewer the higher is the "Y" value of its coordinates.).

In the year 2022, I personally would prefer the current "2d with pride" to this very humble 3d variation.

@schulz I could imagine a player seeing the same unit icon in small being confused and maybe thinking it's a small unit (e.g. less powerful). I do see your point that sometimes you have small territories, e.g. islands, and want a clear presentation of the being within that territory (rather than in the surrounding ocean, in case of an island). How about you design guys come up with a pretty and well understandable way to show this, and then we discuss implementation details?

@rainova Later I've concluded that units having different sizes in different territories could be unpleasant to see.
