Kindwind_vs_CmdData_ToC_J15_he_surrendered.tsvg CmdData (Axis, bid 9) defeats Kindwind (Allies) in round 15.

The game was still close after 12 rounds, but the Axis began to push their positional advantage during the next few rounds by securing Caucasus (while keeping Karelia and W Europe stacked). This led to Kindwind's surrender.

The game didn't have any large scale battles, just several medium scale battles in Africa late. The Allies were ahead after the first round, but the Axis caught some favorable dice on Russia 2 and very favorable dice on Germany 2. Germany got the best possible results in both SZ 12 and Algeria on G2.

Kindwind fought hard and provided a great game. Thanks for the game!

TangoRomeo (Axis +9) beats Dirty_Tirpitz in R9. The German forces surrounded Russia and while the Japanese held of the USA in the Pacific. Stalin mysteriously and quickly disappeared as Russia surrendered in order save millions of lives in a final battle for Russia. I very much enjoyed the quick paced game.

bayder (Axis +8) defeats TangoRomeo (Allies) in USA5 in a game played about 50/50 pbem and live. TR played a good game, and I believe surrendered a bit prematurely as he had a strong position in Africa and northern Europe. However, Axis had Ukr and Per stack, and the USA Med fleet was in peril, so TR signed surrender papers to save his minions. Thanks for the fun, fast, and friendly game TR! -bayder

Shmod (Allies) defeats skillibri (Axis +9) in Russia6. I was expecting a long hard game, but a slight error in calculation allowed the Russians to wipe out his Japanese troops and take his factory in India. Without a massive German army close enough to punish my Russian expedition in time, he decided it was best to cease the bloodshed. Good game, was sorry that it ended prematurely due to a calculation error.

Centurio (Allies) surrenders to Eboy82 (Axis + 9) in UK7. I think maybe a bit early, as Allies were way ahead on TUV, but Axis was now combining fleet in sz14 allowing for a German push towards Russia while keeping S.E free. Japan was stacking Persia and holding it. Very tense game - very well played by Centurio, thank you for the game, and your early surrender - was very friendly of you to surrender so early. Not sure I would have done same if I were in your shoes though - so you have my highest respect and gratitude here 🙂 triplea_7Ger (1).tsvg

Blasherke defeats Frank-the-Tank (Axis, +9) after a thrilling 14-rounder. The Axis were able to counter the Allied KGF with a near-decisive sinking of the US Med fleet in round 6. However, with a combined Rus-UK-US effort, the allies managed to push back Japan and even to take over the Jap Asian IC's. In an exciting climax, the Germans almost managed to conduct a succesful Sealion operation, after which the Axis honourably surrendered.

Thanks for the fun & challenging game!

King Kelly (Axis +9) defeats Villars (Allies) in a long game. Allies took the initiative with Russia stacking tanks whcih kept Germany very busy. On the other hand, Africa belonged to Axis, which gave a huge income all the way. Once Japan got its forces into play, Allies could only defend. Axis got the win through 9 VC cities, but since Moscow had fallen, it was over already. Sorry for my dice luck Villars, we have a long history, this time I was the lucky one. Hope to play again!

Nardawgg (Allies) defeated Shmod (Axis+9) in a game defined by the American counter-attack in pearl habour. with only 1 fighter sitting on the carrier, the Americans swiftly retaliated resulting in a battle for the Pacific. The Island hopping had begun, but on the other side, Germany had problems with Africa with Russians helping in the Middle east. With a viscous (and extremely lucky) D-day in round 6, the Axis surrendered. Thanks Shmod for a great game and a good PBEM pace. triplea_6UK.tsvg

NastyNate defeats Chewbabuba (Axis +9) by surrender in the fourth round after some vicious dice and a couple blunders. Allies attacked FIC UK1 very successfully and built the India complex UK1. Japan left some counter attacks on the board and, despite the Germans coming through the suez to help with India, had surrendered the entire mainland to Russia and pacific to the US by round 4.

Eboy82 (axis,9) beats NastyNate52 (allies) by surrender in UK5. Super tense game with a UK1 India factory, and a US pacific game despite an expected Pearl Harbor outcome. NastyNate52 defended India with everything he could from both UK and Russia, but the Germans were buying tanks tanks tanks, and in G5 the attack came on Russia - that was weak from helping India. It was very close, 88 % attack - made only possible by a Jap air attack of 2 fighters + 1 bomber to make sure 1 unit was killed. Thanks for Nate for a super fast game - was a good one.

hammond (Allies) defeats JBwood (Axis +9). From the Rd1 Russian attack, the dice favored the Allies in almost every battle. Allied transports were picking off Axis planes, Germany lost a simple counterattack in WE, bombers were falling to AA guns, etc. With all the bad dice, Allies quickly surrounded Berlin and although Japan was growing in Asia and Africa as JB was putting up a good fight and some interesting battles lay ahead in Asia, the loss of the Japanese planes to aa guns and transports was enough to have the Axis sue for peace. Thanks for the game JB and being a good sport!

Tulkas (axis+9) over King Kelly (allies) in R13 by surrender. The game followed normal strategy with axis eventually able to take Russia and axis being able to defend in Germany. The key move in my opinion was in R4 when Russia went heavy into Persia probably believing that the TUV hit for Japan would be too much to counterattack. While the TUV was negative for axis in Persia, Japan was able to get it back depleting Russia of many defending units and solidifying the strategy to take Russia with Germany/Japan. Pleasant game with "normal" dice that were probably close to even. Thanks for the game King!

Nardawgg (Axis+9) Defeats Hammond (Allies) in USA26. Tough to summarize such a long wild game like this one. Great moves and great mistakes made on both sides. Russia was a mighty force, stronger than Germany for most the game. with over 30 tanks, the Axis had a tough time pressuring such a force, which Hammond moved around excellently. Japan had a massive presence in Africa for most the game to fight off American troops which helped keep UK small. UK collecting under 18 for most the game helped, but they still have 9 fighters, and a constant supply line to Russia to fight of the Japanese forces. The climax began around round 23, where the race was on. American IC in southern europe was pumping out tanks and Germany's days were numbered, but at the same time with a big force of Russians down in Italy to help protect US production, Japan amassed a force outside Moscows doors. Round 25 with around 18+ allied fighters stationed in Moscow, Axis made its move. 2 German fighters kamikazed into West Russia killing a critical british inf to swing the moscow move into Axis favour. With a 80% chance the Japanese struck, with a great result in Moscow along with at the same time a sneak attack through the canal killing the US fleet of 3BB 14Tran 2 Carriers, taking out 650TUV from the allies in 1 turn! Hammond called GG, thank you for the great game Hammond, we will meet again for sureToC Hammond.tsvg

bayder (Axis +9) defeats ingcameroni (Allies) in round 7 by Projection of Power (9 VC's). Russia made a strong move into Asia (11 inf) in round 1, so Ger responded by a strong and swift eastern push. Russia's defense of WR was not strong enough, so it was crushed early...and from there, it was a pretty rapid take of Moscow. Thanks to ingcameroni, as always, for a fast, fun, and friendly game! -bayder

PanPal surrenders to Eboy82 (Axis+8) in J5 following first a full-out German attack on Norway stack with American factory and second a Japanese air attack on the now split allied fleet next to England. Axis had got some good dice in the rounds leading up to the Norweigian battle of game. Thank you to PanPal for the game. You're a much better player than I am, but this time luck and intense battle-training was favoring me, and I didn't face your dangerous Axis game. Ebioy (Axis) vs Panpal(Allies) toc17.tsvg

Nardawgg (Allies) defeats Eboy82 (Axis+8) in round 10. Axis was employing an all out attack on Russia, abandoning Africa early, which led to a stronger than usual UK. Japan didn't even take the time to clear out the Allied Islands in the Pacific when they smelt blood from Russia after losing 6 early inf in Buryatia. The stronger than usual UK had consistant supply lines to Archangel to help ease the burden of the Russian defence. With US in full control of the mediterranean they too later helped hold Germany in europe to make Japans attack a solo mission. With immense pressure in a Persia/Caucasus standoff the Japanese moved into Kazakh heavy but the 300TUV lead was too much to come back from and before a combined US/Russian strike on the Kazakh army, Eboy resigned. Great game Eboy 🙂 ToC Eboy82.tsvg
