Go to auto save and you should be able to retrieve hopefully. You might have to search a bit with our save coming in on top of it.

Auto a little inconsistent it seems to me anyway but usually the newest ones towards the bottom -
Damn it! I forgot about that autosave thingy...that worked well once in a past game.
Anyway, I did it now in Edit mode...wasn´t as ugly as I thought it would be. -
You can try going to settings and readjusting notifications or click on the notification button and see if it needs reset

yep you maxed out on Corps and Armies. You can replace some of the Infantry in the AG with better units and use the Inf as fodder before the AG disbands but it doesn't change anything power wise.
