was there a change years ago that affected destroyers blocking subs on old maps? (solved)

I'm playing a map whose xml hasn't been modified in ages, and isn't one of the main maps (which might've been updated to fix engine changes), I think the map was made back in the 1.9 era. The odd thing is that destroyers aren't blocking sub movement on the map, even though they and subs seem to have all the normal settings, and mouseover and xml show they have the standard sub and destroyer properties. I've a vague recollection that there might've been an engine change at some point, and that various maps were updated to work right with the new engine.

The only change I can think of is the breakdown of 'isSub' into separate options. Can't remember for sure when that was.
Maybe let us know which map so that we help you with this.
Cheers...

Do the Destroyers have "isDestroyer" in it's unitAttachment ?

hmm ... I just tried with Germany and the French DD in Bay of Biscay blocked a U-boat from the North Sea Zone from going to Trafalgar.
Are you sure everyone is at war ?

hmm, oh, I missaw some of the sea zone boundaries, that was the problem. Yeah, it does work fine then.
