        @johnnycat Ha ha! Japanese were tops in the world in technology when I was there in the first few years of the 21st century but not so much in 1944 or whatever year we are in right now

            Yea so the dudes don't change appearance but are under German control. You can hover to see.

            I think I did that to make it easier to not overproduce Paras after the Takeover. I can't remember. LCVs do the same.

            Anyway, after they die it will produce them in grey. Idk, I've thought about changing it and probably should at some point or at least mention it in Notes if I haven't already but it's kind of low priority since it actually works 🙂

            The new update is coming along well though, so I might do it for that.

                The 6 New Naval Mines are mining the Gibraltar Straight - I am doing that correct yes? These naval mines are much more powerful than land mines so if you go through them I would love to see how to roll it out - odds are good that some full transports would be blown up some I would think heehee

                  So to get the dudes in the SubPens you need to edit in a "Changer" U-boat. They have a blue bow.

                  They can't be attacked then. You have to edit them in and out as you attack with them. Also, they won't defend either. They just chill.

                  Anyway, the 4 U-boats in 113 could enter the Pen but they can't be attacked regardless, so no need too.

                  Also, your free SubPen can be placed according to the rules. It just defaults to W GER. Use edit if you wanna place it somewhere else.

                  You can use the same NM for 92 SZ. NMs are just informational so no biggie. Besides it looks more intimidating with so many present lol

                  The 3 Subs in 96 need to switch to U-boats. Happens with the Takeover. I can't remember if it auto does that or not. I think so. I should fix it if that's the case.

                    @johnnycat No problem on the U-Boats. Am not planning to attack W. Germany or SZ 112 this turn anyway. 33 infantry in ME and two are elites!!! That's easily a record for what I have ever seen before in any of my games. That's why House Rules Expansion is such a great game. Every single game is vastly different than the others.

                      If you want to re-do your G9, I am okay with that. Otherwise I believe Berlin will fall on my next Russian turn. If so, you would probably successfully recapture it with all of that stuff you have in Yugo & Northern Italy but it's quite the hit to lose your entire bankroll of Germany/Italy and hand it over to Soviets.

                          @trout OMG. I figured out what I did without even looking. I moved those 30 inf south and they were supposed to be next to Germany.

                          Because I counted your guys this time and there are only 10 in those upper boxes. you have 12 in the the upper boxes far from that front so there are only 10 armors that could "surprise" me this time (no surprise now that I can read that stuff). I counted this and actually was trying to trap you into going south - I have a surprise for you there - I swear man this thing with Janice is just tearing me up and have had trouble just thinking.

                          But she DID email a week ago and mentioned us meeting And she has every right to be mad at me so I am getting a grip - but still

                          Anyway, thanks I will fix this quickly because the entire point was for you to take that giant army south and no way you could threaten Berlin this turn with all I have there - I had so much I even sent a precious Jagdpanzer via airlift to Norway !!! hahaha

                            @trout OK. the fix is easy but I have to drive somewhere - so I will get to it ASAP. Mostly the plan was to funnel you to Greece but because my 30 inf army when to a Dance Club in Italy and got high on Ecstasy they were not where they were supposed to be to make you going to Poland suicide.

                            I did have one question for you though:

                            In the future turns will your guys cross any of those 4 Land Mines? Do I have to keep track of them each turn? I recall @beelee saying they blow up dudes BOTH WAYS

                            I wonder if we should do special land mine dice rolls just to be able to notice it. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in Gibraltar but knowing you, your UK guys have a top secret Mine Sweeper unit that @beelee just added that wipes out all my naval mines and detonates all my land mines everywhere, hahahaha. I AM KIDDING...

                              I Figured out that the AAA gun in Burgaria is there to shoot down your para troopers and the little boat just there to soak off a hit - BUT I STILL DO NOT understand why I am keeping 3 fighters there in Greece - I thought they would intercept your guys that took Romania but that did not happen.

                              what am I missing about that and why did I put an airbase there in the first place? I mean if I was you. I mean why would YOU put an airbase there if you were me....

                                yea ABs only scramble to Sea zones.

                                Where are the 4 LMs defending ? I suggest using the Comment Log to document where they defend when no border specific ones available.

                                Remember Paras get +1 move from ABs too. Stalingrad worth a 5 spot to the reich

                                        @beelee I have a plan for Gibraltar that may surprise you a bit 🙂 For the 4 LM's, you laid them on the Poland/Slovakia border, I don't know if I will cross that border or not. Very common on the Soviet/G front for units to try to bypass if they can. G has bonuses for Caucasus, Volgograd, and Novgorod. In the rulebook of course.

                                          @trout Yea I would not be surprised to find nuclear weapons and starfleet command in Gibraltar. Seriously how you get pass the mines?

                                          Anyway I RR 3 new land Mines between the Slovakia and Eastern Poland border (the blue mines) of course there are no German mines for that but plenty of Russian mines. Which says I am doing things way different than the devs thought up.

                                          So for the record: the ENTIRE REASON I want to play this game is to prove your earlier statement about this mod being unique actually being TENABLE.

                                          I want your statement to be true and huge armies in the Middle East or wherever is a fun and interesting game to play.

                                          I've been trying to define that thin line between keeping the axis alive long enough to actually do cool new stuff and the basic concept that I should be able to block the soviets long enough - but I might be wrong.

                                          Otherwise we might as well play G40 and call it checkers cause that is what that game really is if there is no room for new creativity that works.

                                          So hopefully I will get a few more turns to put some of this stuff together - and sure let's see the bring Rock of Gibraltar Surprise (DOES IT MOVE ?)

                                            @johnnycat Checkers this game is not. Maybe Grandmaster Chess .... maybe. I have seen some crazy strategies but have never seen this monstrous pile of Nazi orcs crawling up and down the Arab desert. Well, at the moment, there's no way for my comparatively modest stacks in Egypt and Caucasus to compete with that so Middle East is yours sir. Whether you can keep the Allies away from Berlin while that happens?? Well, I don't know the answer to that just yet.
