@Trout roll for all LMs and if you get more hits than dudes those don't count.
e.g. 5 Inf attack 12 LMs Roll 12 dice. If there's 7 hits than you don't count the last 2.
5 LMs and the % Inf would be removed leaving 7 LMs still
They got the door back in. 3rd times a charm lol

Also, if you have more than one battle and if you don't you can create a fake one and edit back, at start of Combat, before you start the battle, roll the dice and then edit any hits, then roll regular combat.If only 1 battle it'll immediately go to the battle and you can't edit.
