Big World 2: balance of power
-
just reporting a minor bug on the map:
in the enclosed save, the germans aren't getting the objective for controlling Leningrad or Stalingrad.
on the objectives tab, it says that the requirements are axis control of one of them, which they do.
not sure if the problem is xml coded wrong, or if the NO requirements were changed and the text for the objectives tab is wrong. i'm not sure where the text for the objectives tab even comes from now that I look around a bit.0_1521728269374_BoPmissinggermanobjective.tsvg
fun map btw.

There is an 'Objectives' text file inside the map folder that creates the Ojectives Tab.
Though the behavior for the objective itself is governed by what is in the XML.

Objective 2 and 3 for Germans is direct ownership. They incorrectly say they must be axis controlled on the objective tabs. Although one can argue for allied ownership as well.

who's in charge of the map now? is prussia still around?
just thinking it'd be nice to fix this to avoid confusion. -
@Prussia is in charge of this one.
Although I have a made many upgrades to this map in form of Big World 3, which is not completed. Partly due to waiting on feature request to come to fruition (costResource for userAction). So I can add a improved technology model.
Also while working on it a larger, more ambitious project has spawned from it, which distracts me from completing the initial plans.
Prussia has helped me play test my version when he popped in a for a couple weeks a while back. But have not seem him since then.
I suppose I should just complete BW3 with a watered down version of technology, as compared to what I envisioned for it. It would be a shame to let it go to waste.

Or you can hack it by using units for tracking resources, you would place in a box somewhere.

I'd be interested to hear about the tech system for a big world 3 zod; is there a thread for that project where we can hear about it?
-
@zlefin I have not made an official BW3 thread yet.
-
@cernel Do you have any idea for it?
