Can't move India units in Global 2nd Edition
-
Was having trouble moving units that were bought and placed in previous turns in Global 2nd edition in India. Even when we place infantry, it doesn't join the existing infantry pile and goes into a separate one. Only way we can move them is through edit mode. Are we doing something wrong? I feel like I've seen someone write about this issue before but couldn't find it. Thanks for any help.

are you playing on one of the bots?
There's a known issue where the UK pacific units don't get turned into general UK units after being built. It's fixed by editing the units to manually convert them from UK pacific to base UK, by removing the units and replacing them with regular UK ones.

From the Game Notes:
"If you ever need to create new UK units, always create "British" units, do not create "UK_Pacific" units (except for Factories and facilities, all UK_Pacific units turn into British units when placed normally)."

@panther folks I saw something similar in global 1940 house rules. Editing won't allow adding British units. Just UK Pacific. This leads to your issue. Regular buys work though. No idea if it's related

@zlefin Yeah, playing on a bot. Thanks...that seems to work. Though it is a bit of a pain having to do that every turn. Appreciate the solution.
