            yea it doesn't matter where you do it. I would keep it PBF. I still use pbem but the other players can use pbf in same game.

                    Howdy,

                    I didn't get a chance to look at game file yet, but I assume you see a Sealion on the horizon due to a light protected London.
                    I recommend you adjust your UK purchases and placements and we continue with the game. Would be a bummer to start over just because of that little mistake. That is totally fine with me!
                    By the way, I also missed to defend London in the past a few times as well, and a light Sealion (2 or 3 transports only needed) just hit me. πŸ˜„

                    Let me know if you struggle with the adjustments/Edit.

                        @panzerstahl-helm-0 Thanks Panzer. I did see the SeaLion but didn't see the problems with my defense until after I had sent it. I played OOB all of the time until January so seeing the board has been a learning curve for me. I edited in two UK infantry in London plus 1 PU and removed the infantry/artillery I placed in India. I think I will roll with that to keep it from getting too complicated. You can still do SeaLion with that, but it carries an equal risk of losing the battle and the Luftwaffe as well for Axis.

                          okidoki. I try to do my turn tomorrow morning (here is it 1.45 am already), before we leave for sightseeing.
                          Furthermore we will fly back on Monday arriving on Tuesday, so I will be offline for 1-2 days

                          And regarding Sealion - London and Tokyo are hard to crack, because both can activate home defense:

                                @panzerstahl-helm-0 I am new to Triple A but so fascinating how you, Beelee, and VF all follow such different strategies yet all are so effective. HRE really is such a brilliant game to have cracked the code on the one weakness of other A&A games which is to find a critical path to victory and then repeat over and over. HRE does not have one definitive critical path but rather challenges you to see what your opponent is doing and then find an effective counter.                                   heh heh agree completely.

                                  EXP also can allow new players to match up with experienced. I can't remeber if The Captain lost or almost lost or if he wasn't even playing but a first time EXP player took down a respected Veteran or came close just a few months ago.

                                  You should check out our game with crockett. A different strategy none of us expected, yet he still has SSR in a fairly strong position.

                                      Indeed HREis by far the best version of Global40 and I canΒ΄t go back to the OOB (or any currently existing other version). I have been playing roudn about 10 games so far and each one was so much different. Beelee and VF have different play styles (and as far as I can tell your style as well is different to the others) and I realy enjoyed every single game!
                                      The outcome of every game can change at every turn!

Thanks to A&A G40, my son (Pizza Emperor) is acing High School World Geography right now. He's the only one who knows where places like Sumatra are πŸ™‚ I still can't figure out how to do the Corps/Armies so please know that the Commissar, two tanks and mech infantry in Bryansk are 1st Corps. Not an issue yet in our game but if I can't eventually figure it out, I will send an SOS to Beelee for his help with it. You are doing a great job keeping me guessing as to your game plan with G so far.

                                          At the end of NCM but while still in NCM, I look for any units i want to move to a box.

                                          Since G and R aren't at war yet, triplea won't allow you to move over there TTys. So, you have to edit SSR and G to war and this will allow the movement into the box.

                                          Then go to "Perform Move or Other Actions"

                                          Now we go back to "Political Relationships" and switch back to Neutral. You click on the intersecting Relationship status between the two players to have the change box pop up. So, Russia Germany War.

                                          End NCM. At start of place, we need to activate 1st Corps.

                                          Click on Commisar and "Remove Selected Units"

                                          Turn off edit and complete our Place. I usually place all my guys and then edit to a box if needed, as placements can also create the conditions for "Corps/Armies".

                                          Now usually, you won't need the political step. That just happens early game before the Reich and Soviet Union are at war. You just go to the "Move Other Dudes" thing.

                                          You can also blow off the Political thing and just delete and add but I wanted to show how to do that too. If have say an AG forming with lots of different units, it's best to do the move way so you don't forget what was what and have to look it up in History πŸ™‚
