@beelee By the way, I tried to activate Commissar before the battle and couldn't do it. I am probably doing something wrong but I hovered my mouse over all three Commissars and didn't find any that activated. So I just did the battle without it and the results made it unnecessary to reach out to you for assistance. Of course this game you are doing lots of daring attacks on both sides of the board, so I was not expecting you to attack Rostov last turn.

Yea you need to activate them start of CM. Before you move anything into or out of the TTy/Box they're in.
You can remove somthing before combat and that works but adding units won't. It'll show anything that is added but they won't participate in the fight.
So for LMs, you roll for them at the start of combat, then turn on edit and remove any hits, including LMs and then you can turn it off and fight normal.
Have to remember to kill any active booster units first when their Army/Corps is no longer active due to casualties or it'll keep boosting.
You can swap them back in after battle if needed.

Yea that's fine. You can use the dice roller and post a screenshot if you want. I can't remember if you got that issue sorted or not for posting those.

roll 8 dice and start with first roll as lowest and work your way up. That's how triplea does it in History also if you ever need to go back and adjust something.

So the first 4 are for the 4 Inf 5,4,6,1. Got 1 hit
Next 2 for Arty and Mech 3,2 1 hit
Last 2 for Tanks 3,4 1 hit
3 hits total which kills The Paras.
Paras roll 3 at 3

So you lose a Inf and the Paras die. If you wanna go big or in smaller battles, you could roll all 11 at once and the last 3 would be the defense rolls.
Not a big deal to roll them separate but if you only have 3 or 4 units total in the fight you could do it one go.
But if you still having trouble posting pics you can use dicebot or just tell me what you rolled and the result. Not that big of a deal.
Panzer probably help you with posting pics if needed as he's on windows.

So when moving from the AF Box, only send 1 AC. You sent the inactive one as well. I have all 3 ACs in the Box so you don't have to edit back and forth.Just select the one that applys and use it, which you did correctly by using AC Tac. For defense you'd want to use AC Ftr
No biggie as that Escort was going down regardless

oops spoke to soon. Here's 1st AF at start of CM.

Starting at top you have AF Ftr, AC Inactive, AF Tac, AC Ftr, AC Tac and the Ace.
So 1st AF for the attack you made should be configured like this.
AC Tac, AF Tac, AF Ftr, Ace

The two unused ACs stay in the Box

Then after combat they fly back to 1st AF. 1st AF moves back to GIB just like it started out.

So move the guys in 2nd AF to 1st AF and put 2nd AF back in it's Box and move 1st AF back to GIB.
Lastly, just a reminder, AFs can't form on CVs.

@beelee Got it. I am not going to bother changing my US turn over that as I would need to go back more than one turn to change my strategy if I knew that. This game is far from lost but I see several mistakes I made in hindsight. I think alot of my mistakes could be corrected if I did my turns slower but I am trying to train myself for Denmark as I believe for the sake of time you are limited in time on doing your turns in the actual tournament.

@beelee That's fine. I will let it go. Too complicated to change it. I think the next shoes to drop will be G thinking of attacking Southern France. That one was a flat out mistake by me, not a rules issue.

yea S FRA wasn't the way to go. I can get maximum counteratttack now. I think Normandy was the play. You had enough strength to concentrate the Navy in 110 and be ok.
Also just notice, you used 1 UK rail to move the tommie to Alexandria. Only 1 left for France. Did you wanna leave an extra tommie Inf in Caucasus ?

@beelee Yep, I realized too late that should have gone Normandy. For the SRM, I moved the Tommy back to slow moving through Africa then used my two for the Frenchies. They are really enjoying seeing the Soviet countryside. A little perturbed to see lots of crying mommies cursing somebody called Stalin about their kids having to go somewhere in Siberia but they're looking forward to good food in their new location.

He got sunk so only for this rd. I sunk US CA and kept ANZAC Escort in case JPN wants to get sneaky with it's Sub. They both hit at 3

So the last rolls was a hit anyway, so no need to save and edit.
