I do like the Wake NB depending on what happens in the Pacific. I can see where SFE NB could be valuable if Soviets can afford the IPC's for it. Sometimes they just can't afford it.

@beelee This game is yours…. unless you make a mistake. But I don’t mind playing it out a little longer as I am pursuing a few new things that I can use in the future. Japan just knocked out India and Soviet Union not in a position to hold off the yellow fellows. USA stirring up a few things but securing New Guinea and UK while playing patty cake with French dead zones and killing blocker ships in the Pacific ain’t going to swing the game my way. Italy has the Med locked down and Germany is secure. Even if I plop a really big stack in France somewhere, you can still do the Takeover to take care of that.

@beelee By the way, why I didn't capture HK with ANZAC is that it reverts to Brit territory and Japan's turn would come before them so I didn't see the point. I think if I had thought of that at all, I would have taken Formosa but I was thinking that was not worth the squeeze.

Sorry I didn't read your full reply before doing combat so I kept your Luftlotten in the scramble. So I concede. I knew after turn 4 or 5 that this would be a victory for you short of making mistakes or egregious dice but neither happened. But I was more than happy to keep playing it out as I wanted to see how some new strategies played out. I also thought it was a bit dishonorable to surrender before the end was no longer in doubt.
