@beelee Good morning. Kids would have woke me up but I am one of those old dudes who always wake up between 6-7 AM no matter what time I go to bed. Yeah I couldnβt pass up the chance to kill the cruiser and tran. Made a big difference because instead I lost a Spit and tran. Yeah attacking both navy stacks on G1 is terrific if the dice cooperate. But I often am on the wrong end of the dice which is why I usually refrain from doing it. All of that fighting in the North Atlantic has let Italy go wild. It never fails that what I plan to do before the game starts ends up changing before two turns are finished

@beelee I donβt think going west on I1 was a mistake. An open Gibraltar is a juicy target and taking Greece also gave you an immediate payday. I guess if you knew I would form a naval stack in 109 and blow my whole UK wad doing that, then going east would have been nice but it was a judgment call for me to do it. I was kind of forced to do that because you had me surrounded on three sides with those U-boats. I had intended to put that money elsewhere but I saw the 109 navy as my only chance to save the battleship and his cruiser sidekick
