T.W.W. Help

First I apologize if this problem has already been addressed elsewhere. Did look but couldn't find a related thread.

When I try to open and start a game of T.W.W. or T.W.W.BETA it simply flashes for a second and returns to "Select Powers" screen. Both appear to download fine, just cannot get a game to start.

Triple A version - 1.9.0.0.9867
T.W.W. BETA - Version: 2.8.0.5

Perhaps there is a download I am missing? Other maps I have tried have opened fine.

@volke13 Yeah most likely you need a newer TripleA version.

@volke13 As @General_Zod mentions, you need to use a pre-release version of TripleA for the latest TWW as it has already included some new features that aren't available in the current stable 1.9.0.0.9867.

Looks like I need a new version too. Which version and file would I need for Mac OS?

@redrum Seems like every time I try to download and install I get version 1.9.0.0.9687. Should I be getting 1.9.0.0.11996?

Sorry to be a pain and I appreciate the help!

@cmmiles If you use the link above you'll definitely get 11996. You might want to uninstall 9687 first to make sure you are opening the right one (you can have multiple versions installed).

@redrum got it! Do I set the neutrals as "Does Nothing" or something else? The manual says "Fodder" but that's not an option.

@cmmiles Yeah, its best to set neutrals to Does Nothing, Fodder was just renamed to that to make it more clear.

No: "Fodder" was renamed to "Easy". The in game manual should be updated to refer to "Easy", instead of "Fodder", albeit that may not be a good solution, as "Easy" is currently deprecated.

@cmmiles You are supposed to assign those players to "Easy (AI)".
