another thing i noticed is that eastern karelia is missing its coastline attribute.
-
@ubernaut Eastern Karelia missing coast territory effect does seem like an oversight unless @Hepps has some reason that us normal folks aren't thinking of. I'll let him confirm before adding it to the list of things to fix.
I'll try to eventually take a look at your save game and sub retreating issues. There were some fixes in the pre-release so its possible that its already resolved (not sure if you tested with the pre-release as well?).
-
@redrum no i havent, pretty much only run stable.

-
I found another bug:
Vichy ships give support to german amphibious assaults
-
@wirkey what do you mean by give support?
-
@redrum bombards didnt realize that was a bug
-
@ubernaut The real ? is ? Are Vichy ships allowed to give support? during an amphibious. I would suspect yes and it is not a bug.
-
-
-
And I am not even sure if I have an opinion on the matter at this point. Hadn't really even considered the possibilities.
-
is it normal that a neutral territory (southern sweden) should be switching back to the original owner if the capital is still controlled by opposing forces?
-
@ubernaut Yes the neutrals return to the original owner if liberated regardless of whether they control their Capital or not.
-
@Hepps thanks for clarifying that.
curious why it works that way. -
@Hepps
Strategic bombing. Version 2.8.0.6 (i think, def not latest map).
Since my first UK and US serious bombing of Germany, i’ve had “odd” results. 3 improved us bombers..hits: 0 0 2
4 improved: 2 0 0 3
4 improved, 2 advanced; 1 improved AA casualty; 3 0 0 2 4
Etc etc, too many non hits? I know about the 33% miss change if normal, 25% if improved and NA if advanced = 0-12 range.
Was or is something fishy going on? Totally useless this bombing... -
SZ27 seems to be linked to Northern Germany. Surely if an enemy holds Copenhagen, that should prevent a landing from SZ27 to Northern Germany?
-
-
@mattbarnes 27 is indeed connected to Northern Germany. Copenhagen however only controls movement between 27 and 26
-
@wirkey indeed that seems to be the case. However, is it logical? Visually, one rather has to sail close to Copenhagen to reach Northern Germany.
-
@mattbarnes While looking at the map as drawn in TWW it can very much look as though the proximity of Northern Germany to the Danish Islands is roughly equidistant to that of Mainland Denmark or Sweden. However in reality the choke points created by the straits (between Denmark & Sweden) are far more restricting than that of sailing off the Northern German coast. since one can hug (metaphorically speaking) the German coast and stay close to 20 - 40 km away from any part of what would be considered part of the Danish Islands.
Furthermore, since the mechanic is really meant to embody the ability of being able to block movement through the strait via a defensible area that would offer the ability to mine or torpedo any navigable parts of the straits... This part of the Baltic would not be considered part of that.

might have found another bug my american Air Transport did not change to british ownership in labrador.
