Older Version Game Saves

How can I load and finish older version game saves - as I get error messages when i try to load such in my current TripleA version?

@bluelionman i dont think you can load saved games once a new lobby is opened.

Is there nowhere to find an older tripleA version to download such as 1.8.0.9 which most my game saves are from?
This truly sucks older games on the same Map become well redundant all those hours of unfinished wars cause peeps are never seen again, to busy or don't want to finish. Will only play people going forward who agree to play to finishing or surrendering as saving is to risky - as an update makes ya game saves dead files! -

Then you can play, by direct connection (Host Networked Game) or e-mail (Start PBEM Game), with anyone having the same.You may have to do the same soon for 1.9, as the new release is not compatible with the current one, by the way.

@Cernel I've never PBEM or hosted not sure how to.
Be nice to try if I can get past players I have game saves with to finish this way. Thanks. I will download now. Can I have both on my system same time - it wont try to overwrite the version i have now will it? -

To play by direct connection, the hosting player must:
Click on "Host Networked Game" and confirm.
Give your IP to the other player or players.To play by direct connection the hosted player or players must:
Click on "Connect to Networked Game".
Add your IP in the Server Address.You can know your IP in the TripleA ladder:

It will overwrite it if it is on the same path, but you can install it wherever else (for example, by changing the name of the last folder in the path, to be a yet inexistent folder, while installing).

@Cernel I just tried to register on the ladder site and it says currently registrations is not allowed so I cant join?

@bluelionman Not sure you misunderstood? I just provided that link to let you have a simple way to know your IP (with no need of registering).
Anyways, nobody can register directly to the ladder. You need to ask for it in this forum, if that is what you want.

@Cernel - Yes I think so I checked the ladder rules for Big World 1942 v3 and it says no rules so am I to take it that's standard default game rules then - dice / Tech etc. Or is each game rules agreed individually each game between opponents?

@bluelionman The rules are agreed upon by the players example = Tech or No Tech, Low Luck or Dice, etc.
