Russia takes back Eastern Poland and Conquers Romania!
With the German army divided among Poland, and Slovakia Hungary the Russians can safely move their Northern army to occupy the Baltic States.
The 19 Infantry and 2 artillery divisions in Slovakia Hungary do not have enough movement to support an attack on the Baltic states.
Eastern Poland is now a Three Dubbel DEAD ZONE, if the Germans move their entire army to this place (Thick Yellow Arrow), their arplanes will not be able to land there in the same turn for support against the combined attack of the Russian army from the Baltic States, Bessarabia , Western Ukraine and 2 tanks from Novgorod (Blue arrows).
This Will give Russia a TUV (Total Unit Value) advance of 60 PU after the battle!!!
Bud the Russians will not attack Eastern Poland for this massive TUV advance if the Germans also produced 10 new TANKS (Green Circle) in Germany. Because they are now all in range to support EASTERN POLLAND in this DEADZONE.
If Russia takes out the Expensive German army in Eastern Poland shown in the picture below, they will be in the dead zone. Because German can counter attack from Poland, Slovakia Hungary, Finland and with the 10 new blitzing tanks from Germany (Green Arrows)!
In the following picture, you will see, how Germany supported the DEAD ZONE in Eastern Poland using the range of its aircraft and their new Blitzing tanks from Germany.
The counter-attack (Green Arrows) will give Germany a great Victory, and Novogrod will so weak for an easy Invasion over the sea (Purple Arrows). After the battle, all Russian forces will be defeated and the Russians will not have any means of retaliation!
With the above example, we demonstrated that Germany can actually occupy the DEAD ZONE even if a counter attack will give him an initially negative TUV swing.!
This is a nice demonstration of the DEADZONE in Axis & Allies.
We can further complicate things, with Russian Hit and Run attacks, retreating after one round of combat, but that is one for the future!

Russia just barely defeats the German army in Poland, thanks to the support of 2 tanks from Novgorod they barely had enough numbers to decide the Battle in their favor, bud in doing so they leave Novgorod weakly defended!
The Battle in Poland give the Russians a TUV advance of 19 PU. Bud there two tanks worth 12 PU are now easy pray for the Germans!

Germany Conquers Poland and Romania!
The Fuhrer is Furious! Poland is conquered again, and this time with such a massive force from Germany and a fighter squadron from Finland. The Russians will never set foot on German territory again!
In the South Romania is annihalited from 3 different directions, the russians stand no chance with the onslaught!
The Fuhrer considered taking Novgorod in the North bud after calculating it's estimated cuasiltues cancelled it's battle plan, and executed his Chief of staff for considering such a Battleplan. German lives are not to be sacrifced litly!
The Russians reinfoce Novgorod and push further North!
All russian forces fall back deep into mother Russia, being outmatched they seek to conquering futher up North. The plan is to conquer Norway, and cut German supply of Iron Ore! This will hurt there war affort for sure! Will they use wood to build their Tiger Tanks after running out of Iron?

Even Drunk The Fuhrer is a great general!
The Russian fighters in Belarus were sitting ducks for the German Fighters, Russia should have landed in Novgorod or moved all more anti-air in the aera. A costly mistake for the Russians. This gives Germany a TUV change of 6 PU in their favor.
The Fuhrer was still a little bit intoxicated, trying to land his fighters and tactical bombers in Eastern Poland, bud the german engineers did not yet finish the airport in this newly conquered territory. Thanks to their skilled squadron leader, they made evasive maneuvers to land Poland just barely with their last fuel reserve, they were flying on fumes!
The squadron leader Heinrich von Fliegende Holunder was promoted to uber Luftwaffe commander of the derde reich!
The German ground forces attack on all the Russian front and took the Baltic States, Eastern Poland and Bessarabia, making way for an assault on Novgorod and the Ukraine next turn!

Stalin is slowly running out of cannon fodder!
Ehu... ehu... kugh,... I mean heroes who bravely fight to the death for the motherland!
After the decisive defeat of all, its airpower, the Russian surely feel the lack of maneuverable support.
With Novgorod and the Ukraine doomed to fall, the Russians fall back to Belarus again, bud first they conquer the rich country of Norway and Finland.
And with a surprising attack just before winter sets in, they take out Eastern Poland again for a massive TUV swing of 14 PU, bud they leave 2 tanks and an artillery division open for the attack after the battle, worth 16 PU. They sure lose their TUV advance. Bud Stalling counts on them to take at least 2 filthy Nazis with them, making their last stand!

Novgorod is back in Russian hands!
After the shameful loss of Novgorod, the head of communications could not be found. It appeared he was executed months ago after overcooking our great communist leader's lamb kebab (shashlik) and Russian cabbage soup (shchi) with meat, his favorite dish before executing insurrectionists.
