Re: Where is Airborne Combat Described?
Hello,
Somewhat new to the game, have a few different Global 2nd edition games under my belt. One thing I can simply not figure out is how to do airborne combat. I have the tech, i have a bomber in a territory with an airfield and an infantry is in there too. And yet no matter if i click on the bomber, or the bomber & infantry, i am never able to actually do any action. i always get errors like "destination out of range" which isn't true OR "can only launch airborne forces"
what am i doing wrong?

In that edition paratroopers move independently so you don't need a combination with a bomber.
Just move the infantry unit(s) like an air unit. But of course you must comply to the rules, that means- start in a friendly territory containing an operative air base
- move three or less spaces to a territory that is attacked by your land units from
adjacent territories and/or by amphibious assault.

@panther thank you for the quick help. i was able to get that to work. not very intuitive and a little odd that its so different from 1942 version, but rules are rules
