Server down?

My understanding is that we need one of the very few people who has the logins to do server stuff to come and fix it; at least if it's anything fixable on our end. If it's something about whatever hosting company/system we use, then we can only wait.
So how long it takes heavily depends on when one of those people notices the problem and isn't too busy with RL to fix it.

@zlefin oh, did anyone mention that all the games in the lobby disappeared last night before this issue with logging in?

I just got back into the lobby....haven't tried loading or playing a game...

There was a configuration problem which the old server (2.5 is now considered old!) did not get automatically. Because of this, the 2.5 lobby was unable to communicate with database. That impacts just about everything in a bad way.
This is fixed now.
I'm at work and unable to spend more time validating, but will monitor this thread a bit. Let me know if things do not look good.
