Tournament of Champions (Season 4) for AA 50 Anniversary '41 version

- As my answer was twice banned I rewrote it deleting some issues making it fairer about the subject.
This is my view, answer and disagreement about your determination:
Delitium wrote in ToC12: “have fun and enjoy this!! This is an opportunity to not only play highly skilled players, but to interact with A&A players around the world, and experience different strategies and tactics. It is a great opportunity to raise your game and have a lot of fun at the same time.” And I completely agree that first of all is that we game to enjoy and pleasure making friends as well.
But the determination key judgement was mixing PBEM games with its OOL rules that are very much different than an online games where those rules don’t applied at all, there are not OOL rules in a live games but moves, acts and decisions to be make on the way. We are gaming as an expert players not as a noob players, so the quote: “First and foremost, this is a very unfortunate incident for both of you, and probably NOT something that will ever happen again in your remaining A&A games in your entire life! As such”. Sorry, but it’s an everyday game issue for an expert and even for a normal assiduous player with daily gaming matters and especially in a NOT edit Game. Furthermore, we are in a ToC game and not just in a daily game. When a similar situation had happen to me I accepted it as a human mistake and also accepted random dice causalities when aren´t in my favor, but about this issue I noticed and have some doubts that rose as weren’t clear to me after your determination. Even your conclusion, this game hasn’t finished and wins yet.
G_Z won his first game by arbitration and a gamer needs to win, as Delitium quote in the above paragraph, and try not to be helped by arbitration related to human mistakes (Expert players try not to commit those) it’s needed and have to win, our game show by itself and stand in a Non-Combat Move after a battle was won but territory not taken, By a mistake? It’s the game! And now he got a second winning by arbitration, is he gone to win by arbitration? It’s the second and almost sure couldn’t be the last.
Reviewing the chat (Anyhow, chat should be continued but weren’t, why don’t continue with the chat?), at the end say:
(6:35:06 AM) General_Zod: 100%
(6:35:09 AM) General_Zod: gg
(6:37:00 AM) Raville: no
(6:37:03 AM) General_Zod: i click too fast
“I click too fast” is a mistake and those error make games to be lost (as I wrote, not OOL rules apply here because it’s not a PBEM game) and a mistake has to be paid, it’s the game! We have this situation when taking a capitol city in all games, it’s not a new feature or a game interface quirk, as G_Z wrote. Thanks for the invitation to participate in ToCs, wishing good games and good luck to all participants and particularly to Delitium and Prastle for your great job implementing these tournaments.
Remains to you all, cheers

LeeMorrision (axis) defeats Empiricist (allies) - 19 rounds of unit attrition eventually allowed Japan to swamp Russia. File attached 0_1522437162929_triplea_Bri19.tsvg
-
Wasp (axis) defeats LeeMorrison (allies) - An early british offensive in libya opend the door for rapid japanese expansion into africa. The axis struck fast and hard throwing the allies onto their heels. Unable to push the germans back and losing ground in asia and the pacific. The allies sue for peace.
-
Empiricist (axis) defeats tulkas (allies) - axis got off to a decent start and allies couldn't quite squeeze the soft underbelly of Europe hard enough before Russia collapsed
-
Stroid (axis) defeats quartermaster (allies, 15 bid)
Was an interesting game. UK played hard north leaving france easily defended by germans. Russia defended well against teh axis push. But USA couldn't decide to go atlantic or pacific. After switching back and forth, the axis were just too large to deal with. GG WP

Prastle Allies @ 14 defeats @Mogwai Axis Round 9. With the loss of Rome and the allies overrunning Europe Stalin, Churchill and the USA air command were able to strafe Persia ending Japan's final hopes to crush Moscow. Good Game Bro! Enjoyed!

Stroid (axis) defeats Empiricist (allies, bid 15)
A great game. Both sides played well. Allies played an excellent russia holding the hordes back for a long time. But UK and USA where not super helpful in damaging Hitler. Germany was able to remain strong while Japan pushed through India up into the Caccaus. In the end, Allies decided to avoid further bloodshed and call it a day. GG WP!

Hi - just a gentle reminder to post your results and the last game file here. It is OK to write to me as well, but I would prefer to keep everything here in the main forum page.
Thanks, Deltium

For those wondering who will be the next one to be steamrolled by General Zod...it will be me

Icelander (Allies,13 bid) defeats A432. Everyone against Japan while the RAF prevents the Germans from entering Moscow. -
@icelander hehe

@icelander Haha, my steamroller is in the shop. I think the wrecking ball will be more fun, :construction_worker_light_skin_tone: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

redrum (Allies) wins over blackskull (Axis) at the end of round 5.
Blackskull's summary:
Early in the game Germany came under strong pressure due to very bad fighting from the Luftwaffe as well as the infantry loosing several battles where the enemy were greatly outnumbered. As a consequence Japan focused their attention on Europe, setting up military facilities in East Indies and Indies, taking on more risk in the pacific sea... In the end the Japanese air force caught the US navy by surprise taking out all surface ships and plans, leaving a sneaking sub force, which against all odds a few hours later took out a celebrating Japanese Navy.Save game: 0_1526675843829_triplea_Ame5.tsvg

Hi Prastle,
Can you add me to the players list for a future season?
-
@blasherke sure bro
-
prastle (Axis) wins over redrum (Allies) +14 due to resignation in round 8: 0_1531172570384_triplea_Ger8.tsvg
@prastle Thanks for an excellent game! It was a pretty close game and could probably go on a number of rounds longer but I think Axis does have a slight advantage in position and need to keep the tourney moving.
Allies went for a more balanced strategy with US going Pacific to try to pin down Japan and take out their navy. Germany played pretty aggressively and built a large airforce to pressure Russia and the UK. Not very many large battles and mostly just positioning and trading territories. Probably the biggest turning points for the Allies were a battle in the South Pacific in round 4 as the US tried to take out part of the IJN and battle in round 7 as the UK tried to break the IJN screen protecting their main fleet off the coast of Japan. If either of those went in the Allies favor then it could have been a different game.

@redrum 100% agree your sub death was a bit of a game changer. Thanks for the great game. I am sorry that I find PBEM not my thing

-
@Wasp Thanks for the game and Great job! Wasp defeats Prastle and now moves on to play @Icelander for the title! Good Luck Have Fun both of you!
