TotalWarTanks works different for SSR because of their Mass Tanks. 12 PUs for Mass Tanks and then 10 PUs for the additional 3 TotalWar Tanks.

Also you bought another Commisar. You can only have 3 at a time. Triplea has to change the commisar so it can support the correct units, so it's unable to enforce the build resrtiction.
So we remove the TotalWarTanks for 10 bucks and the commiesar for 5 more. Tou can by 3 Mass tanks for Moscow and have 3 bucks left or do something different.
The Mass tanks can't place in Finland, so let us know how you'd like to adjust your buildHi @crockett36 in case you missed the above, how would you like to adjust your build ?

@beelee I have removed all my Moscow purchases. I need 3 units in Finland. I put 3 infantry in Finland. I will only put the 3 tanks into Moscow since this is a little out of my area of knowledge. I forget how much I had. 36 I just found out. I think that is right. There are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many units.

I have to say that you are doing very well for your first game, not only on handling all the special and new units, but also for the moves and strategy you do! Very interessting stuff!
I can feel with you regarding the struggle with the amount of different units, but believe me this will gets better from game to game! After 3 games it becomes natural.keep on fighting!

Rules question, when you upgrade a minor underground factory to a major, is the underground lost?

Ahh you must be referring to India. I forgot it got knocked down to a minor. But yea, I didn't find anywhere that said you can't or that you'd lose it. -
well didn't hear back from the Captain. Seemed a pretty basic yes or no question.
My interpretation is when you upgrade it will remain underground. Go ahead and do your turn that way.

@crockett36 I will say, though I understand the appeal of groupings and the dice benefits, I have a veeerrry difficult time doing the math in army groups. And math is everything. I have grown into a "just in time" logistics system that leaves just enough defensively so that I can be aggressive in other areas and I cannot do that in this game.

@crockett36 And the math on the total war stuff and requirements makes me feel like I'm paying premium price for stuff that my enemies are getting on the cheap. So not a great feeling.
