Personal Status Update - I was MIA doing hurricane relief work. Less MIA now. (But still MIA!)

I didn't do a good job of keeping TripleA in the loop on the happenings and goings on here. Lot has been in flux.
I last reported that I was going on a bicycle trip and was going to be back in around October. The trip happened, made it through the Rocky Mountains and saw some spectacular valleys, deserts, plains, forests, hills, big hills, small hills, roads and more roads of all types.. The plan was to make it to Asheville NC. If we all recall, things went down in Asheville.
I was in Iowa when Hurricane Helene hit. I paused the bike trip in Iowa and rented a car and drove to Asheville. I've some family here, wanted to help them. I went to work almost right away doing volunteering, clearing out flood soaked insulation, rummaging through debris piles looking for artwork at my sisters art gallery, pulled a lot of dry wall nails, moved buckets of mud out of basements. It was pretty intense. I later then went on to build a supply redistribution website to help the supply centers here load balance supplies (https://wnc-supply-sites.com; recently launched a sister website: https://socal-supply-sites.com)
Alright.. so I'm wrapped up with all of those disaster relief efforts. Beyond the manual labor I was doing solid 90 hour work weeks getting the supplies website setup, and just busting so I could get things delivered and start making my way back to WA.
I was wanting to continue the bike trip, and will be - but just heading back the other way! The time has come! I'll be on the road for the next 7-10 weeks and then will be back in Seattle. I'm planning to drop down to Texas and visit the Grand Canyon, then make my way to LA. Fingers crossed my body will survive it!
Sorry to have lost track with TripleA community. Things have been very in-flux and my plan was to leave well before Christmas.. and a month before then..
If anyone wants to do some dot-watching, I've got a live tracking link that should be going live in a couple of days: https://maps.findmespot.com/s/ZZLP
