Trying to be helpful here. Are you editing pu_place by hand, or are you using 'Decoration Placer' in the map tools?

I'm doing it by hand for adjustments . It started out as however. Idk, I think it uses centers. Don't want it placing over the names, so I tweak when needed or if I want to squeeze in another place.

Hmm ... I don't remember using the Decoration placer before. Maybe I can move them with it ? Idk they're already there and would probably need to be tweaked anyway.

I'll check it out to see how it works anyway

Although the map making tools are old, one the basic are done, the map can be loaded to view. Just save pu_place, load game, make adjustments, reload game, etc...

It maybe easier to commit out unitInitialize, to get a clean view.

Hmm ... triplea has froze up a half dozen times today. I wonder if Mega is too mega ?

Elk said Mega is a bit too Mega at times too. Can't run multiple triplea at same time. Doesn't always do it.

I wonder if an AI is trying to take it over ?

No problems here. Laptop is about 10 years old, but it does have 32mg memory/1tb ssd/win10 so I don't have many freezes. Sorry.

Hmm ... I tried adding wc's French xml to the games folder. I renamed it by adding 1939 to the end. Changed mapName as well and it's not showing up.

I copied the html notes and changed their name too. Must be missing a step. Anyone know where I'm screwing up ?

Did you add it to map.yml.

I added it to the yaml and I get two Mega Elk's now. Same one. Do I need a separate yaml ? Can you have two yaml's ?

Uggh this is becoming almost unusable. I'm spending as much time restarting the machine as I am working. Wasn't this bad yesterday.

Well, unfortunately, it's still freezing up for me. Mega Elk is the only map in downloadedMaps now. I guess I'll set vmoptions back to 1250 and see what happens.

Sadly, I'm not gonna be able to work on this map if I can't solve this problem.

Last try and I'm out of ideas after this. I'm real close to printing out the triplea dude and taping it to my machine, going out the backdoor and using it for tatget practice

Finally got triplea to fire up again. Had it all fckd up too
