I fought Baltic STs in edit as it wasn't boosting the Elite over the second PanzerGrndr. I just used the last die roll in the "1" column as a 2 if it hit.

Actually that was a mistake on my part. I only had the one Arty and he boosted the PnzrGrndr to 3 which is what I wanted.If one had preferred the two "2's" with the Elite instead of the "3" then would needed to use edit and change the 3 die roll to a 2 in that case as well as the last "1" die roll to a 2.
