      I recreated your turn. For the Belarus attack, you have to move All Box units on to the board before any attackers. Otherwise they'll place but won't roll.

      The SS Pnzr Army is the Active one for AG Center. So I move the red dot for active. He'll boost the other 2 SS Pnzrs and himself with their bonus rolls.

      The Inactive, blue dot SS Pnzr, rolls 2 by himself. This way, if the Army is disbanded in combat, you can kill the Active Pnzr and the Inactive will continue to roll twice, as SS PG always rolls twice, even if by himself.

      The rest of the Armies use their Inactive Commanders.

      Hmm ... I have a 4th SS Pnzr that is not part of 1st SS Pnzr. In this version the Active SS PG will give a bonus to 3 SS Pnzrs. It's on the list for the next update.

      What I will do, is move the SS Pnzr to W GER and Fly a 262 to replace it, as they both defend at 5.

      I also need to deactivate one of the SS TDys. I temporarily moved him to AG South as it won't let me remove him at this point. I also added the Inactive SS TD to AG South or someplace and moved him to Belarus.

      I thought you could place defenders directly into the TTy but a recent conversation with Victory has me uncertain of that and I need to test it.
      Actually, I think you can but you have to do it before anything moves in. I still need to check it though.

      Anyway, should look like this

      Now will add the soviets. Hmm ... not letting the Engnr blitz with a Tank. I'll check that for the update.

      I activated 1st Tank, Red Dot TG. Your Commisars can't blitz, so they stay in Moscow. Anyway, this is what we have

      Edit was acting weird for me after I moved dudes. I had to X out and close windows. Haven't had that happen before. W/e it worked.

      Now we'll do battle. Turn Edit back on and let it rip. Just for giggles, lets see what triplea says

      Hopefully I can roll this out. My new OS wasn't allowing me to access screen overflow and enter wasn't working for killing the selected casualties.

      Only have the 1 AA and it's gonna shoot at the Planes so the Paras are ignored.

      AA misses. So does TD. 2 Rockets hit.

      It's not letting me fight in Edit. I think the Rockets and TD First strikes might be fckn it up. I'll check Might have to roll those by hand

      It's not letting me select the German casualties for the rocket attacks. It does for AA and TD against Soviets and also does in the solo Rocket attack.

      Well this blows. It used to work fine. See if I can find a work around.

      It's not letting me select German casualties first combat rd. 2nd rd it does. Soviets I can select 1st rd fine. Not sure why that is. It happened with Trout in our game but he was able to fight fine.

      He's on Windows though. Well I'll post a save for you to see if it works for you.

      So the Engnr will blitz. Need to switch to "EngineerAttack" I tested in a small battle and everything worked. Trying the big battle again

        OK gonna start over. Idk what happened. I'm guessing it had something to do with how I placed the German Defenders.

        I have a TD in one of the SS Armies is why I have 2 Active. I replaced it and the SS Pnzr as the very first thing and then moved guys from their Boxes.

        I also moved the Soviets from their Boxes directly to Belarus instead of Moscow and then to Belarus. That shouldn't matter and is usually the way I do it.

        Well I'll try again. Hopefully it works and is a bit cleaner 🙂

        OK this one works. Go ahead and save at the end of CM again. I'd play it out in local too. You can also adjust your turn completely if you want.

        You most likely need to kill the AG Flag rd 1 depending on casualties. Just don't count it as a hit.

        If you decide to go for it, save and screenshot the hits and I'll give you the OOL. There's too much variance to give you a concrete one before battle.

        Actually post end of CM first and we can check to make sure it's correct.

        Change your Engnr to Attack before you move anything or you get burned. You can always add one to a different TTy and move him if you forget, then kill the original in NCM

        Actually I fckd up. The TD should change to Inactive in 2nd SS and move to the Board. The SS Pnzr should move from Belarus to W GER and a 262 move to Belarus. Do those first for Germany and then move the rest of their dudes.

          Ok, I know the game doesn't let you place after move but didn't realise it was all defenders first.

          Ok, how does the AA work, does the defender or attacker get to pick the unit type for losses? (I assume you can plan to let the Paras eat the hits)

          Ok, that makes sense, I just moved the engineer with the paras and rockets via EDIT MOVE/ACTIONS

          Thanks for all the hard work to trouble shoot this. I think it may take me a few more battles like this to get it all right first try!

          I'll take a look at home tonight and see what the new setup looks like.

          Do I need to do anything with the prior dice rolls or just start from scratch?

          I'll stop after round 1 combat and reconsider as I don't want to loose my planes if you would still have lots of units.

          Note to self, check the engineer, move the Germans

            Hi Alex

            Yea you will need to just start over. You had 3 active Commisars in the attack and I had 2 active SS TDs among other things.

            Yea the AA choses to attack the Planes and or the Paras. I only have 1 AA, so it'll target the planes. Any hits and the attacker decides on the casualties. Same as regular battle.

            When Paras are targeted, you need to hand roll. Turn on edit at start of battle. remove any Para hits, then turn edit off and fight normally.

            The game Notes have the place Defenders first info. I know it's a long read but the first 5 min or so should mention the top issues.

            Then you can just scroll and look for individual units for further clarification. The Units are in the order of the rulebook.

            Yea it takes a few times to get the hang of it. You have to be real deliberate when choosing casualties. Make sure you have the right amount and to take any Active Commanders if their Army/Corps will be disbanded.

            You can replace TG with any surviving Tanks in NCM if needed.

            So, yea, post at end of CM, stay in CM, and I'll look at it. I can then go through the battle with you. AA Fire and TD hits are no biggie. If your Rockets hit heavy, kill the AA and take the rest of the hits on the Tigers.

            If you get more than 5, kill the Inf. If all 7 hit, I'll have to look 🙂

            Then do the first SSR main roll, screenshot (it's good to do a save too in case something goes wrong) post both and ask for casualties.

            You might need to use the mouse to save, ctrl s doesn't work for me anyway when the battle window is open and you have to do it on the rolls. If you go to select casualties, it won't let me save at all.

            Just x out of the window and it takes you back to rolls.

                Well done. 1 minor mistake. There are 3 Waffen Pnzrs. Should only be 2 and the TD should be changed to inactive, blue barrel. I gave some confusing information, so no biggie.

                What happens is the SS Pnzr will roll 2 5's (fixed for next update) while the TD would roll 1 5. So disregard the last die thrown at 5 when G rolls.

                Also it looks as if you have the older WaffenArty and maybe @panzerstahl-helm-0 does also ?

                  Ignoring the last 5 ... so 32 hits ... seems pretty good rolls for the Germans

                        Yea the TD should be destroyed and replaced with a plane. Not from Belarus. Just add one. What woulda happened is the inactive TD woulda defended at 5, same as the jet that got moved there.

                        I woulda killed the TD before the jet.

                        I guess technically it'd look like this. TD goes back to Belarus and a jet goes back to W GER. Then the TD is replaced with a jet in Belarus.

                        Once one of you guys do, we can test to see if it works. Panther says it does for him but others are still having trouble.

                                yea it did for mre too but it worked on my end. You can do a quicktest with a combat roll in PBEM mode and see if latest save works. It'll error out in the battle if it doesn't
