Main Map Focus
-
I've been looking and I have yet to find an answer to the following question:
Is there a way and/or how does one control the focus of the main map (within a scenario for instance)?
I seem to recall that (in the original Axis & Allies; at least) the focus would follow enemy actions and then return focus to the player's capitol. But, I'm playing the Tutorial and it doesn't do that (and it would be helpful if it did).
So, if anyone knows, I'd greatly appreciate help in finding that answer.

I believe that would be in menu, view-> lock map. Checked off, it will not follow other players moves, unchecked it will.

It's following the moves okay; but what I'm looking for is a way to switch the focus at the start of the given player's turn. In most cases, it'd be to that player's Capital territory.
So, again, is there a command for that?

@stohrm I don't think there is a command per say. But you can click on the mini map in top right corner of the interface panel at any time, and navigate by left click hold and drag of mouse on said mini map.

@stohrm It only works for the nations you are playing yourselves, not when the AI is playing.
So for Germany and Italy the focus should shift to the capital at the beginning of the turn and for me it does. When it's the AI turn it will not do that. -
@stohrm yea I would like it so it stays on the last move/player. That way I can access what happened. I always or almost, click back to the previous country.
Anyway you could try searching the old forum. I think it was discussed there but don't no for sure. I might search some as well. If it's not possible it should be a pretty easy feature request I'd think. But : )...

For example: in the Tutorial game you don't start with a capital and it doesn't focus automatically to where your (only) unit is. Granted, that portion of the tutorial teaches you how to focus and such; but it'd be nice to have the ability to direct one's focus via triggers.
